I agree. It’s hard to know which one sounds more accurate. Maybe this one should’ve been called “Before the Planet of the Apes” or something. This is why I stopped watching most movie reviewers online like John Campea etc. Their tendency to assume their audience knows about twist endings and rumored plot reveals totally ruins the experience of watching a movie for the first time. Do yourself a favor. Unsubscribe to all of that and limit your movie news to trailer reveals, or a calendar of upcoming movies. You’ll enjoy old and new movies so much more this way. I’ve hardly gotten spoiled since then. I guess it requires knowledge of that. I guess it came off as an inside reference. Thanks for the assistance. I’m surprised the real Jean didn’t make a bigger deal out of it. Maybe she just fainted ;) Hmm seems like an amenic excuse but ok. I think it’s faithfulness to the source material was rather close, as well as seeing comic book material being bought to life visually for the first time (for the X-men). There hadn’t been anything like it. It may not hold up to some, but it’s still a fairly solid Saturday morning cartoon throwback. In the end it’s still a kids show with adult themes. Some camp is expected. It’s an original idea. At least it’s not something rehashed. It was a fun movie, if not all that scary. We will just have to disagree on that one, I felt Tale Spin was better back as a kid. For what it’s worth, I wouldn’t watch either nowadays. That’s cool that you have appreciation for older films. But a lot of people don’t. There are probably a lot of people that got exposed to the series first. And then there are people who appreciate both. Would you watch a movie that’s 25 years old? A lot of people, many younger viewers, wouldn’t. Kind of like why a lot of older movies are being remade. People watch what’s new on Netflix. Not everyone searches for a movie that’s decades old. I liked the movie. But it was the films biggest weakness. Yeah, I was shocked at her suddenly disabled status I mean WTF. I appreciate you letting me know this ahead of time. I’ll skip it. Musicals are an acquired taste. I was excited watching the Super Bowl trailer until I found out it was a musical. Now I’m just meh. Hopefully it’s not too much music and just an actual film. Well, if it’s an actual film with a musical number here and there then I might still give it a chance (like Wonka). But it’s it’s just a two-hour song like Les Miserables then it’s a HARD PASS. Wait? So this film will be a musical?! UGH. And I was getting so excited about it. My anticipation for this film just dropped like a rock. I hated it as a kid. I remember they had a huge multi-month build up to its debut where every week they had a commercial skit saying “hey it’s 7 weeks until Darkwing Duck”. And then “hey it’s 6 weeks”… until it finally got to 1 week and we were all excited. Then we watched the first episode and I thought it was just the most boring series. It didn’t seem as good as Tale Spin and whatever else was on at the time. Never watched another episode after that. Who knows. Maybe they knew it was a dud, and that’s why they had to create an artificial hype around it. You’re such an idiot. First off Ivermectin does NOT work. Why else were so many anti vaxxera running to the hospital or dying because of being misled into taking what is essentially COW medicine. The vaccine worked. Why else were 90% of the hospitalized people NOT vaccinated despite making up a large minority of the population. And you say Biden is big Pharma and big corporate. Look st your own party. They were the ones who tried to rip away ACA, with its protection. Their replacement law was so pathetic even your own party realized it was too bad to pass. A big corporate handout to pharmaceutical and health insurance companies while providing less coverage. So let’s hear it? What’s Trumps new health car plan? Oh that’s right. There isn’t any. He’s just a big damn idiot who only cares about himself. I’m done debating you. You’re such a damn idiot.
