The forced diversity and inclusion in Hollywood movies is so consistent and unrealistic that I find it distracting.
I was annoyed by the token white guy in Black Panther who has no business being in Wakanda so I don’t mean to single out black sistas. It just so happens that Hollywood prefers for black females to get the throwaway token roles so they meet the diversity quota.
Too many women of color in Hollywood if you ask me, I can’t see a single movie these days without a token black chick somehow being friends with a group a white women. How many groups of white chicks have 1 black female friend in their clique? It’s gotta be like 0.00001%....sooooo unrealistic.
The Naive woman who adopts a child but then acts surprised when she learns that the child is evil. This character almost never does their homework and uncovers the sinister truth long after dead bodies begin piling up, nor does she feel remorse for being a naive nitwit.
Brie Larson declared war against white men, blame her for this.
If Denzel Washington said that we need less black female rap artists because 67% of their audience are white Males.....and a black Woman can’t possibly relate to a white man so they should shut their mouths....Critics would slam Denzel, not declare him as an sjw hero.

I gotta disagree....she’s been in like 80+ Movies in the last 10 years but not one memorable performance comes to mind. She happens to be in a lot of movies that are good and enjoyable but it’s never because of her.

Getting ambushed like he did and not only coming out alive but then faking his own death is pretty badass. Flash forward to Captain Marvel where he is a damsel in distress lol.
Winter Soldier is easily the best Marvel movie we’ve gotten....Captain Marvel isn’t the worst but it’s beyond mediocre, perhaps equal to the first Antman.
Yeah right, Nick Fury was a badass in Winter Soldier. He was basically reduced to a lame comedic “Driving Miss Daisy” role in Captain Marvel.
What about the “I’m tired of people telling me what I can and cannot do”?

No it’s nothing like that, kids go to school to learn, not get mandated to eat yucky fruit and vegetables. Just admit that Michelle Obama really screwed up and move on with your day.
What part of “mandate” don’t you understand? The Government didn’t give any advice to kids, instead of Little Timmy enjoying a side of French Fries, he was given green bean casserole instead. That’s not advice....that’s putting a gun to the lunch ladies face and forcing her to put unwanted crap on the tray because the Government says so. What about this program did you like? The kids didn’t enjoy it, they threw it in the trash can lol.
The Government shouldn’t be in the business of telling children what they should or shouldn’t be putting into their bodies. Same for banning large soda drinks, nobody wants this Communist nonsense here in America. Yes Michelle Obama helped get that stupid mandate through and it was of coarse a huge waste of food seeing that 99% of the kids threw it right into the garbage.
No, we should wait until after the trial takes place and a jury carefully evaluates the evidence and makes an informed decision.
If you don’t believe in the judicial system here in America then maybe you should move to a country that doesn’t believe in “due process” and runs on identity politics mumbo jumbo.
That’s better than the Liberal logic of “we need to just take a woman at her word and vilify the Man until all the facts come out”.
I actually enjoyed it, not the best movie of the year but definitely deserved to be nominated.
Technically speaking, Captain Marvel lands inside of an original Blockbuster.
