Eh, I enjoyed part 2, and I think there was some good comedy drawn from the idea of a sequel, but I agree the third was meh. Yoanna that won season 2 was my fav. She looked like a model, but more towards commercial. Yup. Incredibly boring and cliche, I turned it off at the half-way point. Came for pics, leaving disappointed. Three seasons too many. Fisher is a lot more charming and charismatic, but as far as subjective beauty and features, Ridley wins. Fisher would be a lot more fun to hang out with, though. Fat?! Yep. Incredibly bad, and not in a charming way. Started skipping through around 20 minutes in. No idea how this has achieved cult notoriety. I was just thinking of that scrolling down. That was shocking when I saw it as a kid in the 90s. "He stated that her attention span was very short as she would become bored and want to go play." This always seemed like BS to me. She was 12, not 6, and obviously Portman is of above aveage intelligence. This stood out to me on first watch. He was definitely taking advantage of Leon being gullible in that regard. Yeah, decent for an obviously low budget, nice to see President Palmer in something, and a couple of the new faces showed promise. This is it, completely. Film just looks like magic for narrative work. There's a reason some directors still insist on it today. Really pretty cast, but terrible film. Started FFing after about 20 minutes. What was with her HS friend near the start who looked 30? I looked her up and turns out she was a 'producer' on this. Oh dear. Thank you. Totally see what you mean. Wonder how much is the filter and the influence type poses? Tragic. Can you link these Daily Mail pics? Yeah. Some of the actors were actually the correct age, and STILL looked too old. Bizarre. Noah Emmerich, who played Mo, was 30 and looked 40+. Beautiful Girls (1996). 10 year HS reunion, most people look 35 regardless of the actors age. Uma Thurman as the "babe" cousin when it should've been someone like Charlize. Rosie O'Donell is in it. Despite all these negative factors, it's fantastic. I don't find Marty's overall vibe unrealistic, at all, but SOME of the dialogue sounded like Portman was reading cue cards at times. I'm not sure if we can blame that entirely on the writing (as some in this thread said, some her age do talk like that), or Portman, but it's clear the dialogue didn't sound natural for her. It's a shame, because she's a very likeable character in this and it's a great, great film. I do agree, as is, if Marty was a figment of Willy-boy's imagination, it would've been fine. I consider the casting of Uma as the babe cousin far more of a problem for this film than Marty's dialogue, btw. Charlize Theron would've worked so much better. This.
