I am Jewish, and the situation is more complex. There have been a lot of bad things done on both sides. The 1948 war which was 3 years after the holocaust was called the war of genocide by the arabs. That being said, most American Jews, myself included are against the Israeli's building settlements on Palestinian land. I am sure the director condemns that also.
I think that women are sexually wired differently than men. So many times, I have seen women go back and forth between being lesbian, and then straight, and then lesbian.
Men are usually either gay or straight.
I think that is why women are more tolerant of this.
I am from Boston. Martarano was unequivocally half Italian. Flemmi I believe was half Italian.
He will do just fine in jail. My nephew went to jail for 18 months, and had no problems, except with the quality of the food. It was not the worst prison, but it had the bloods, the crips, the latin kings, ms13 etc. in it, so it was not the best either. Kevin will join a group like the Aryan brotherhood, or crazy white boys, and be just fine.
The other prisoners should be more afraid of him, than vice versa.
I have never been to jail or prison, but have talked to people who have. It did not sound great, but not as bad as this movie. Minimum security prisons also did not sound that bad. I never heard of rapes occuring there. When you start to get into medium or maximum security prisons, it gets pretty bad from what I have heard.
