Watching it again tonight for the hell of it, and damn the stew still looks incredible!! "Testy exchange." Pretty ironic statement there. I was there! I think my then-girlfriend regretted going with me, because let's face it, it's cheesy as all Hell. I enjoyed it enough though, but really started to appreciate it after several viewings on dvd/streaming throughout the years. It's a great guilty pleasure of mine, although it's been a few years since I've watched it. Definitely feels like the SyFy channel made it, but oh well. I gave it ten more minutes then shut it off. Had enough. No, they just tried to double up the sympathy by making him morbidly obese AND gay. He could have been a straight man and the movie would have had the exact same effect. It wouldn’t have been different at all. He could have cheated with a much younger, attractive, female student instead. But, Hollywood has to push an agenda every time. I was only exaggerating but he definitely looked like a full grown man and certainly not a 17-18 year old high school kid. It's certainly open for interpretation. Makes complete sense but can also be taken as total garbage. I see both sides of the coin. Considering he was about 34 years old and playing high school basketball, I guess I'd feel really confused. Really good video link. I always thought she moved on very fast after doing the math of Chuck's disappearance and her kid's age. Not once did it cross my mind that she was cheating on him but it does make perfect sense. I always thought it was weird towards the end when Chuck is in her house and he says "Let me get one thing straight." She then grasps her chest in panic before he asks about Tennessee having an NFL team. She then exhales with big relief and answers him. That reaction makes so much more sense now. How did I not recognize all of these clues before? I've seen this movie dozens of times!!! Make sure she doesn't get any ideas from it. Be on your best behavior, mate! That's awesome, Olioz! Glad I inspired you. There's just no show like it, no matter how many times you've watched. I think I've done at least 6, but probably more, total rewatches since it's been off the air. No other show gives me the same feelings while watching it. It wasn't 100% perfect but it definitely offered something totally different than any other show I had seen and really got me emotionally hooked on it. I just thought it was because of her face. I appreciate that clarification. Being gay must have made him a much better FBI agent as well. I didn't realize that could happen. Certainly nothing wrong with the way it was prepared in the movie, so I agree with you there. It's really hard to beat a damn good burger. Better than a steak sometimes.
