It might have been an important phone call though... no one knows who he was talking to or what about! If I saw someone was on the phone, I'd leave, but maybe try again later if we passed the house on the way back! Haha, you sure? Now I'm actually disappointed... JK! :'D Haha no, it's just you were the last person who replied to me on this site before you replied to this today... your reply was actually 4 months ago but I replied to your post about 4 days ago :P So I thought you may have read my reply today and then found this post through my profile... Anyway no worries, small world I guess :'D Haha... you followed me from the Family Guy board bro/sis? :'D The 15 minutes at the end was the actors doing a REAL seance on Zoom before they shot the movie... it said this before it cut to that, you might've missed it though :) So everything you saw in those last 15 minutes was actually real, not acting or had anything to do with the film itself! I thought it was a pretty cool extra! Not gonna lie, at first, I didn't trust that it was real and thought it was trying to trick us and there was gonna be another horrible jumpscare haha... but there wasn't :P The people you see that were not on the call before were most likely crew members! Can't agree. Caroline was my favourite, she was so cute... and Radina a close 2nd. Sorry for the late reply... I don't visit this site often, but yes, that's the one! :) Yeah I didn't like that scene at all... It wasn't funny! I feel that was out of character even for Sonny... he did some asshole-y things throughout the movie but that was a completely different level... like, the peeing on the restaurant thing, while I don't condone, I kinda feel that guy deserved it for being a dick and not letting Julian use the toilet... so I found that funny! Like, throughout the movie, we're supposed to believe that Sonny is a good guy deep down, when you take away the bad behaviour... intimidating and robbing someone like that isn't bad behaviour, goes way beyond that! I felt bad for the guy who he robbed (who is actually the director of this movie, haha!) Possibly! I think the world has just gone that way in general... on both sides! Politics is more and more about 'us vs them' nowadays rather than the country itself... Obama wasn't really involved in any scandals... he was a likable guy personality-wise (in my opinion) but had a pretty boring presidency overall... with Clinton you had the affair scandal, with Bush you had all the embarrassing slip-ups plus the Iraq war... with Trump (I don't think I need to add anything here haha)! One of my favourite Simpsons episodes, Homer Badman, completely predicts and takes to task the future MeToo movement... although I dunno if that was considered a 'left' issue or not back in the 90s. Didn't they already do something similar involving Homer back in the early days... the episode called 'Homer Badman'? That was before cancel culture/Me Too even existed... of course the Simpsons predicted it, like they do everything! Haha, that's just an old stereotypical posh British accent... I've heard a lot of voices like that, particularly in 70s/80s TV shows... I wouldn't say it's identical... sounds even posher than Stewie but I get what you're saying... it's the tone more than anything! Who the fuck starts a conversation like that? I just sat down! As somebody who can memorize this movie line-for-line, and have done for about 20 years now... I can confirm, he NEVER said that. Definitely a Mandela effect thing... but not for me, as I know he's never said it, haha... I've always found the meme amusing none-the-less as it does sound like something Morpheus probably would say... but he definitely didn't! We had already pretty much won the war before you got involved... if anyone it was Russia, of all countries, who rescued us? you're not thinking of lolita by any chance? lol! I swear I've actually seen that happen... but you might just be making me imagine it, haha! The ripple effect thing to me makes sense... once Marty watches himself get transported back to 1955 in the DeLorean, that's when everything around him should start to change... only problem with that is the 'Lone Pine Mall' that has already changed before he gets transported (but I suppose you could just say that's a continuity error and let that slide - this film is full of contradictions, but we all still love it). That means that when he watches Doc get shot, that Doc didn't have a bulletproof vest on and is actually dead (just like in the beginning). But, when the ripple effect takes place, the bulletproof vest appears on a now-alive Doc (who is actually no longer the same Doc that just got shot, if that makes sense). Huh? But there isn't a "Marty 2" in another timeline, living that life of misery you're talking about... as you can see near the end of the movie, when Marty sees Doc and "Marty 2" get confronted by the Libyans, "Marty 2" gets transported back to 1955, and basically is now wiped out of that 1985 timeline forever. Only one Marty exists from that point forward.
