NOt likely. Really not much to tell. Why would you make a sequel? It's a good movie but I don't think it needs a sequel, not that all sequels made were needed but... in this case, not likely, because of actors schedule and interests I'd say. Mmmm, perhaps you are right and I should read the book before the movie. But regarding Timothy Chalamet, I quite like him as an actor, also as a royalty or leader, I liked him in King (the Netflix movie). I've only heard wonderful things about the Dune series, and I would love for the movie to be successful so we can get more movies. successful in terms of good, not only in the money-making successful. Similar to The Lord of the Rings, I remember not everyone was in on it at first. Will see how the movie goes, and I'll let you know when I've read the first book. Do you suggest me starting with Dune? or chronological order? any recommendation? I'm seeing a lot of negativity after the trailer... I thought it looks great. I was excited before but now I'm really looking forward to seeing Dune on the big screen. I see people complaining about Denis. Saying they did not like BR49... he also made Sicaro which was amazing... and other beautiful movies. I am really looking forward to this one. I love ScyFy if that is a thing still haha but I haven't read Dune, I might read it before the movie drops, and see. hahaha good one. However, you are the one drawing similarities between orcs and Black people... Also comparing semi-gods, which is what elves are in the Tolkien universe, with Nazis... Anyway decent troll, I'll give you that. Number 4 and 5 I believe. The last one was indeed quite good. Picking up the pace. Escape from New York *Changed to a better movie. that's exactly where I would put it myself. A pretty solid movie though. Also, it showed us that for better or for worse guy Ritchie should stick to guy ritchieske movies. And do not do other remakes and shitty stuff such the King Arthur's movie. Even though I liked it, people won't and it's just a waste of his time, for me personally, I would rather him investing his time in doing another gentlemen's movie. there you go, you got the answer lad. let me know when you finish the 2nd because they've set it up as it-s going to be followed by more seasons. I wish it had the same budget... but yeah best show since GoT season 1. I loved the 1st season and I loved the second season, also the way they went. I don-t want to spoil anything but let me know when you finish it. It-s pretty cool. Even though it's a dumb premise for a second season. So Holly is now cloned? buy the thing in the caves? Not that interesting to me. If they teamed up again to catch another supernatural being then I would be into it, kind of a serious revisit of the Supernatural series. They could've set up that scenario not now holly is being cloned. Agreed. The mist (the movie) had a pretty shocking ending. I liked it. Haven't read the book of The running man, I might though now that you say its good. I always find myself wondering if SK's books are worth reading because of his shitty endings... Yeah really anti-climatic. Also, the Holly scratched thing at the end... omg, I hate this bullshit. Why? finish it like that? either give the Cuco a win at the end or a defeat. Like Holly would not have seen the scratch in the shower or at any point in the 2-3 days that(at least) went by. She checked for the neck thingy and not for a scratch? right... also when did she get scratched? when she stabbed the cuco? when did she get close to him besides when he was playing dead like a bloody possum? anyway, really disappointing finale, in terms of characters, writing, acting, and villain. Everything failed. Exactly the problem with the show... it started out really strong, and I was worried it would end up with a Stephen King finale... and well... it did. A bit disappointed at the last episode, it didn't feel epic. I believe it could've been much better. She was a nazi scientist. Not Jewish. But yeah was quite a scene and way to kill someone. I was also surprised when they started dancing I kept watching and there s no more dancing so you are safe to go further. It was a weird moment and quite unfitting. I was coming to mention that, but I chose to not give it to much importance; otherwise, I would just stop watching the show and was enjoying it so far. Not loving it but I thought it was entertaining. Well after the final reveal which for me was pointless... and even if it wasn't, it was wasted anyway, it made 0 impact on me... don't ask me why because I am not sure but when it happened I was meh, okay. "The chess game thing was ridiculous. They are naked, slashing each other's throats, etc. Hey how about we don't participate in that and just get shot, what do you say guys...guys?" you do realise that with the chess game they had a chance to survive right? if the peace they were representing wasn't killed they would survive, so I guess that's why they played, for a chance at surviving. I don't think he did, no
