Also, we got no explanation of why Defoe appeared in four different times, and not only one time. Mannix seems to have appeared in 1889 only. But Iris must have appeared in 2023 in addition to 1890. Not really. There are several horrible rape scenes, but they are not supposed to be erotic. There is also a scene where Jamie spanks Claire with his belt as a punishment for disobedience. He feels that it is his duty to do that. It's hardly really erotic, but very dramatic. Later, Claire gets her revenge on Jamie by threatening him by a knife when the have sex. This scene is considred as very erotic by many. But otherwise, the sex scenes are consensual without BDSM elements, though often very steamy. The train driver does. And people know that Eastwood, that is, Marty, was one of the hijackers, since they renamed the ravine after him. And it was no secret that he and Doc were friends. That's very interesting, but what I meant was whether there exists any children's books which have any likeness with the fictional Amazing Amy-books, with the same type of structure and moralistic content, not necessarily based upon a real child. There was no trial in this case. He gave the local police a fake solution. Yes, Julianne Moore was wonderful, and breathtakingly beautiful, in this movie. i think that Jamie genuinely liked Knox, and covered for Knox because he knew that he could have done the same thing in similar situation. You're right! I agree, and it is hilarious that almost every time reveals too much about the person's future. Like when she meets Ernest Hemingway early in his career and something like this dialogue takes place: Lucy: I'm a big fan of yours. I read all your books! Hemingway: But I only wrote one book. Lucy: I mean all books you're going to write. I agree, and what is most unrealistic is her knowledge of dates. They could ask her, foe example. "What happned at March 13th 1948 in New York City?" and she can almost always answer. She would be not only a historian, but also a savant. But sometimes she fails, but fortunately, some of the others then know the answer, such as in the episode in the second season where she didn't know that the blues singer Robert Johnson would record some songs in San Antonio, Texas, in 1936. This time, it was instead Connor Mason who knew everything of Robert Johnson. View all replies >
