I didn’t realize not calling someone as dereogatory term meant they’re a “liberal democrat”. I thought it just made someone a decent person. I disagree. The show is skin wars and not camouflage skin wars. The show is about showing different forms of body painting as opposed to just realistic camo. Not doing too much realistic camo, we really can see the contestants creativity and not just their body painting skills, since that’s the only thing that camo challenges show. Yea, he really viewed his contenders as lesser humans as opposed to equals. I still can’t believe he called Felle “subservient” as opposed to “a team player” or “easy to work with”. He really didn’t view them as equals and I feel like that wa his downfall. I wonder if his attitude on Skin Wars affected his career since nobody wants to work with an arrogant person like that. I will say, I started to care a little more about him when we see him really care about his family. Dutch was really awful. My jaw dropped when he called Felle “subservient”. It’s like he couldn’t use “a team player” or “easy to work with”, he had to use a demeaning adjective to describe him. I started to care a little more about him once we met his family and how he doesn’t view them as lesser humans as he does his competitors. As with Cheryl Ann, I’m really surprised she didn’t go home after the robot challenge and that Rio did. At least Rio made a robot and not some bear peice. Also her work was quiet boring and just all the same thing. I don’t think she really challenged herself as much compared to the other contestants. I also didn’t believe she was “classically trained” until the anatomy challenge, because the anatomy on, not only her human characters but also her horses looked off to me. I know style exists, but you have to understand anatomy to know what would make an appealing style without it looking weird. View all replies >
