This was a fun thread to read though. The OP was on drugs this movie was going to be a huge success in China. If they ever make another I doubt it will even be shown in China because no one cares about Star Trek there.
The movie has now passed 900 million as of this writing. It will hit a billion by the end of the month now if not sooner and it's only been in theaters for 25 days and did it without being shown in China. OP couldn't be more wrong if he tried but then tried to tell people how much of a BO guru he was lol.

Then again Jurassic World 2 made $1.2 billion and that was a complete fucking dumpster fire. So yeah who knows.
Yeah it would be interesting if that is somehow tied to Thanos. I still doubt it but this show has done some amazing twists in the past so I'm not counting it out yet. Especially with the story lines feeling so similar now.
