You know, on number 2) I completely agree. It's just ridiculous that noone noticed a huge isle of boxes right underneath his terrace. It's just laughable. I think pretty much that's the only significant plot hole in the movie. I don't know about number 3) (I don't live in New York), but regarding your first point, it's not that just that the cops are overreacting. Julian along with everybody else (the bank, Abel) are freaking out for no good reason. I mean I don't get why Julian had to kill himself. Surely at most he would do a few months in jail for having an unlicensed gun? I completely agree. I'm still wondering about that. It just seems so random that they dropped him to a landfill site. What's even more curious is that when Abel sees the hurt salesman they just go have a beer and it's never addressed again in the film. Odd. Loved the film. the first 40-60 minutes were definitely a little slow, but it built up. loved the "near-sepia" filters too. I saw it in a movie theatre yesterday. Definitely wouldn't call the film "really bad". It was just an ordinary thriller with some significant plot holes, so nothing to write home about. It's mediocre in my book. I wasn't a fan of Pacino's performance either. Yeah you're right. I'd completely forgotten about the valet. Guess that puts that theory to bed... ok, but what did you want to happen in the end? i mean what else could happen at that point it's definitely a funny movie. it's a perfect runtime too. I can't decide if Cage's performance was great or horrible but it definitely fit this film haha oh i laughed. the whole theatre did. haha I dunno. I liked it. it was fun. definitely knew what to expect just by reading the poster. "They came for his family. now he's coming for them" fair deal View all replies >
