Yea the smart Hulk was a funny surprise at first, but what was the point really if he was only going to use the brain and not the brawn the whole movie?
It would have been cool if he had stayed Banner the whole movie until Thanos shows up, like seeing Thanos level the Avengers facility is what finally brings the Hulk out.
I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be hilarious, and isn't out of place with all the humorous mayhem in the movie. I saw this movie in the theater recently and it by far got the biggest laugh.
^agreed. It's just a funny movie because it's funny. I think if it had a few less disturbing jokes in it I think it might have not turned people off so much. Rip Torn is absolutely the best part of the movie.
This surprises me a little bit. I like to think you could at least have gotten a little glass bottle of coke at a roadside diner in the 30s.
They'll inevitably reboot it, even though I don't think they should. If they do I hope they don't set it in the modern era or change his gender. The new Indiana Jones should be the exact same character but with a different actor.
Personally I hope they make it about his early adventures pre-Temple of Doom. Maybe the adventure that got him his PhD?
This would be awhile after Indy 5 comes out of course.
Having someone purposefully sabotage the park would have made been a bit too similar to Jurassic Park.
Personally I wish they'd never made a new park at all and just done a simple story about people going on an adventure on Isla Nublar through the old park which is what I've always wanted.
