On Netflix now Did you watch ALL of it? I really would suggest you have missed the point f it entirely. I watched it with a kind meh attitude for an hour and a half, liking it because I liked Lost and the homages to it were obvious. The last half hour really were a new twist and trun to the depth and in hindsight the whole film is very cleverly assembled. I'm going to be watching this several times. Disagree very strongly - I thought it closed the loop (!) very claeverly and nicely and can't imagine how they could ohave done oitherwise. I do not see the ending sequences or build up to them in any way a cop out, this is where I realised I was watching something that ran /far/ deeper thank I had realised during the first hour and a half - pure genius imho I saw it as a cycle of Karma - like the symbol of the Tao. Actions in one reality give rise to consequences, in this case, in another reality but the protagonists are the same and when You do something that has repercussions, You experience it and pay the price, even if it is a different version of You. I saw it that Karl had some dark side and the bee was at least symbolic of some wrong he perpetrated, for which the repercussions then played out. Absolutely mindblowing movie, beautifully crafted. I would love to watch this with a spanish speaking person! I saw this film yesterday and have hardly stopped seeing ever deeper meaning and crafted beauty to the storyline(s). I don't see it quite so much as splintered off as if that is some kind of anomaly (hey, get all the Lost references!). Rather that we are all One, all aspects of a single consciousness and karma (especially resulting from extreme action and trauma) ALWAYS plays out on some versiorisky!)n of you and once you realise that you would treat everyone with much more compassion because they ARE you. And it is not about misery and happiness, all versions have the capacity for independent thought and emotion - notwithstanding their circumstances. Rather it is about causing pain to others and having some part of you have to pay the price for it. I intend to watch it again tomorrow and likely, a few more times. (Cannot decide whether to try watching it with some, err, chemical cerebral boost. part of me thinks it could be rather risky!). Loved this movie, probably one of ythe most powerful I've ever seen and I didn't even realise it until the last 10 minutes! View all replies >
