Season 2 was definitely better than season 1 I thought. But still, not including lost children arc and Ganeshka now is a real piss off. Those 2 sections are some of my favorite parts of the manga. LOL "sticking to the manga more?" They didn't include the Lost Children Arc, which arguably has one of the best apostle stories in it as well as just insane character development for Guts. That's one of my favorite sections in the entire manga They dis-included the parts with Ganeshka too so I don't know how they're going to incorporate that.... There are some things they did well like Flora's character/the telling of magic in season 2 and the fights in season 2 were better done but still. Not including that stuff was tragic as hell. yet Monica Belucci married him lol 1. System Shock 2 2. Witcher 3 3. Bioshock: Infinite 4. Prey 5. Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn 6. Half Life ehhh too tired to put anymore lol I can understand that angle and that opinion. Isn't that the hallmark of a good show though if the bad guy was SO BAD that you craved his downfall but didn't see it. It wasn't as satisfying, I get that. But to have it to the point of craving is a hallmark sign of a great character with outstanding acting. If you like that guys acting, he plays a huge villain in either the 2nd or 3rd Prime Suspect series with Helen Miram. He's fantastic in that as well Aunt? I thought she was his sister Man so many good characters to just pick 1 or 2 lol The Hound - Love his total snide attitude but under it you know he has a good heart Arya - Such a badass, watching her grow stronger and stronger every season warms my heart for some reason Cersei - Such a good bad person lol Samwell - Awkward, hilarious, but also super intelligent Tyrion [of course] - witty, banter, intelligent quotes The Mountain [mutated form] - Dunno why, he's just crazy now lol even though he doesn't say anything. Now whenever he fights he just desecrates them its awesome Davos - Ex pirate / sea captain / counsel. Just an awesome character all round imo Jormund - Dude is battle hardy and damn hilarious too Brieanne - Noble, smart, and a badass Bronn - witty, funny, and an asshole lol Hey there, great points/rebuttal! So here's my response 1. Very fair points for sure. To be fair though, Euron already left to get the golden company mercenaries for Cersei before the white walkers broke the wall down. So they may have a headstart. The battles up north will prevent them from getting south soon I believe. Thus preparing a stronger strike on her part. 2. I need to elaborate what I meant on the Qyburn white walker hand. I believe it's a foreshadowing to him experimenting on them somehow. Don't know how many times you have seen the show but there is a ton of foreshadowing throughout it. That is a valid point though that it took him awhile to do what he did to the mountain. Yet it was also the first time he ever did it I believe. Qyburn is pretty smart and first time experiments will always take longer in the beginning and shorter there after once the process is refined imo I do agree with that counterpoint and that it may actually create the night king sitting on the iron throne. I still believe Cersei has grown smart/evil enough though to play it smart. I actually just recently rewatched season 7 and you are right about Jamie maybe being a huge advantage to Daenarys. However, it also wasn't long ago when he went on that long rant about his love for Cersei in season 6 to that prisoner from the red wedding [can't remember his name] and she is pregnant again so I don't know if he will betray her or not. Yet his character development in season 7 is pretty strong. When he kills Olenna and she tells him it was her that poisoned Joffrey, you could see he was mortified because he knew his brother was innocent, and at the end when Cersei expects him to break his knighthood vows to go north....Tough to say for sure what he will do. I think if he does let them know Cersei's plans then something really bad is gonna have to happen to trigger it. Varga in my opinion; got away. Some points: 1. He got away in that elevator 2. He kept getting away all those years until Gloria happened to notice him 3. Since he got away all those years. His power only would have kept growing and growing 4. A shadow was cast upon him on the last scene; symbolizing his success in hiding in the shadows as a top figure and in that sense of "poof, he's gone" So yeah thats my rationale for believing that. So more than just the clock clue haha Clearly Varga got away. A shadow casting on him should have hinted that to you and been enough to symbolize that he always lives in the shadows and is a top dog. lol not rocket science here. View all replies >
