Stratego, you didn't by chance work as the film critic for the "Philadelphia Enquirer" on 31 October 1980 did you?
THE AWAKENING. - Unrelieved drivel casting Charlton Heston as an Egyptologist who unleashes the curse of a mummy, or more accurately, a mummy-to-be since the victim is his pregnant wife. For Heston, a grave embarrassment, and for anyone unfortunate enough to see it, the film is as much fun as an embalmment.
Its easily the best movie about Egyptology .... so I'm pleased that your eyes are now open to its terrific presence!
