What? Didn't Spotlight have enough car chases, shootouts, super heroes, and vampires for you?
I can tell you in two words why this film is not a masterpiece: Marky Mark.
The "bark like a seal" incident is not in the film.
You are correct; that is a major mistake, unless the film is suggesting that the dealer was able to take the chips unnoticed. If so, she wasn't very stealthy about it.
Well, since Player X is actually Maguire, I don't think he would associate himself with a film that depicts him as a total douche. Additionally, DeCaprio and Affleck would be way too expensive.
