Chief Inspector Maigret - Maigret Eastwood is a great actor. So it's Wayne. Why so much hate? 1. Patrick Jane - The Mentalist 2) Monk 3. House Make some stew. They're extremely easy to do: you put the ingredients in a pot, add the water, simmer it and after 30-60 minutes it's done. You don't need even to watch it. I was offered free Netflix by a friend. I dismissed it. I think that could easily have been said as part of a joke, meaning actually the opposite. That kind of humor was quite common back then. I've noticed that there's a problem nowadays with humor. It has become too frequent that people take seriously sentences that were obviously said in a playful mood. That sounds like Wayne was pulling his leg. One thing is sure, they have managed to take the Invisible Man story and make it about... evil white males abusing poor women!! 😂 What does a white male if he becomes invisible? Abuse and rape women!!! 😂😂😂 But fear not! There will be the charming black male there to save the day! Modern Hollywood is incredible. They can pick any story and they someway manage to transform it in the same repetitive mantra. Shia is a very good actor. The problem is that they tried to launch him as an action hero after Transformers, and that's not his type of role. He's gone now, even though he reinvented himself last years (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWZGAExj-es) but sadly Hollywood often behaves as a capricious child. Tilda was simply brilliant. She fucking stole every scene. I can't think in one single actor/actress in the movie that wasn't good. Good story. Perfect rhythm. A solid popcorn movie. I enjoy more A History of Violence, though I consider Eastern Promises a better movie. The production budget is likely around $300M. Production budgets never shrink, unless you're Steven Spielberg (and not even him, even though he's extremely good at keeping budget and schedule under control). Giving the current situation, it's obvious the movie is going to be a flop. Flops give bad press, so the logical reaction in Disney is to do some 'accounting magic' to decrease the official budget. Movies about Mohammad don't stir any controversy. There were some movie critical with Mohammad a few years ago. Actors and director were told that they would be killed. They apologized and retired the movie. End of the controversy. A similar thing happened with cartoons about Mohammad. They killed the whole Charlie Hebdo and no magazine has published any more cartoons about Mohammad anymore. End of the controversy. I think that's what's likely to happen. That's the usual pattern in the coronavirus family: they remit in summer. And until now, every place where there has been an outbreak was cold. North of Italy? Cold during the winter (just under the Alps). Iran? Very cold during the winter, even under zero degrees. South Korea and Japan? Cold in winter. Singapore has been the only exception until now. And I think that's because of the combination of being a business meeting hub with the air-conditioned buildings. I don't see any serious outbreak happening there. Indeed, right now I'm living in a warm place (we already reached 25 degrees this month), and I'm not afraid. I'm more concerned about friends of mine living in northern latitudes. I don't think Singapore will have much more cases than that. Coronavirus use to remit in summer, and Singapore has summer temperatures. Most current cases likely appeared in meetings in air-conditioned buildings with people coming from China.
