We know one thing for sure, when Emad asked him why he went into the bathroom even after he realized that it wasn't the woman that lived there before, he responds by saying "I gave into temptation." I interpret this as an attempted rape at least if not more.
I don't see how she was forced into it. For her it was the only "job" she could keep consistently due to her anger issues. Honestly I think she was given too many breaks by people around her and that only makes her situation and Moonie's worse. I couldn't believe she didn't get arrested after beating up that woman downstairs.
I think birth control should definitely be readily available, although I don't know if it should be free. Definitely subsidized under universal healthcare.
I also had that feeling, that it was them imagining. I was thinking maybe she comforted her but pretty sure soon after she would be found.
I think they did do a good job getting the viewers to root for the protagonist. But it is utterly unconvincing that they would risk the lives of three healthy people for a teddy bear you could probably make yourself from fabric scraps and leaves.
Also, if this world is so littered with guard dogs why not be more prepared for such an attack? Also when the dog ran out of battery in the tree scene, the protagonist could have taken its limbs off. She did have some tools with her.
I wish they showed us why there were guard dogs in the first place. Really disappointing.
Why is it a problem that the actors are not gay in real life? Actors are expected to act like they are the characters they portray. It is irrelevant.
I like to look at this movie as love story mainly and only secondly look at the homosexual aspect.
I saw tree movie today and it is exceptional. I highly recommend it.
