19. Freddy Got Fingered (2001) 2003 - either Chappelle’s Show or Wildboyz 2020 is a disaster because my Guns N Roses concert got canceled Yes!! Loved this band ever since they were on the THPS3 soundtrack. They are criminally underrated, you can’t convince me these guys needed to be underground while Staind and Saliva enjoyed success. Sadly their kinda only known as “that band Bam Margera’s brother is in” I do really like Post Modern Jukebox. They did a cover of Without Me by Eminem I think and it was really cool. CKY - 96 Quite Bitter Beings https://youtu.be/qvsX-FfglTA Green Day has a lot of great songs, but out of all of them I’m happy this is the one you like. This is one of my faves Original - https://youtu.be/Ypkv0HeUvTc Cover - https://youtu.be/tRVPMv73CtQ Wow! I thought they liked any music 1999 and before. Their hatred of all modern music really pisses me off Yes, Kanye. Here’s a song by him that’s a good example of what I’m talking about: https://youtu.be/f9wJBdFy6sQ You obviously have never listened to any of the artists I’ve listed. Are you Ben Shapiro? I prefer 90’s music to both honestly This is such a bad take I have no idea where to start... do you seriously believe that rap takes no talent? There’s actual lyricism and talent that goes into many acts within the genre, Nas, KRS-One, Public Enemy, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, etc. Also techno producers don’t just go on their laptops and hit a “make-a-song” button and a song pops out. My god, what a terrible opinion. Pretty much all broadway shows do this. I remember Avenue Q reuses most of their actors. I guess they wanted to keep it in-line with the show. Metallica has WAY higher highs and much lower lows. AC/DC kinda makes the same songs over and over again. The reboot was actually really good! It’s just that MTV just isn’t a good place for animation right now. Glad it’s on Comedy Central instead. They didn’t review too many rock videos (besides “Kids” by MGMT) and would actually (in place of some of the music video segments) watch of a lot of MTV shows on at the time like Jersey Shore and True Life (the one where they watch the kid who was addicted with jerking off was hilarious) I think this new show will be pretty successful and I’d be surprised if it doesn’t get at least 2 seasons. I think it’s more The Mask didn’t have a huge fanbase so there wasn’t much backlash into turning it into such a goofy movie, whereas there would if, say, Death Note has gotten this treatment. I think if it hadn’t have been for Emma Stone swooping in with some types of roles that probably would’ve gone to Lindsay, Lindsay would’ve been famous for longer. I don’t think there’s an alternate universe where Lindsay’s in La La Land or Birdman lmao but I think Lindsay probably would’ve been more famous in an Emma-less world To them, they don’t remember much pre-2010. That’s not their fault. You fucking hit the nail on the head, maybe instead of whining that you’re pop culture references are outdated, try adapting with the times maybe???
