Yeah, I remember. It's just a huge omission to not see her in the film at least once. I recorded this but almost didn't watch. The trailer didn't show this movie in the best light. However, I'm glad I gave it a chance. I was pleasantly surprised. I agree that the chemistry between the two leads was nicely displayed. Other than a small over the top event at the end of the movie was a bit "too much", I really enjoyed this film. I saw it in the theaters. I don't have any funny stories. Other than how bad it was (which is a shame because I love the first two), the most memorable part of my theater experience is when Meg Foster appeared on screen for the first time. There was a very loud gasp by several people. She literally looked like the walking dead. That was Dwayne Chattman. He was just another of many, many fine men on that show. That was quite an awesome scene. And it looked real too. The chemistry between Wilson Cruz and Christian Vincent was electric. I loved seeing Ricky vulnerable, emotional and romantic. He was my favorite actor on the show. And Wilson Cruz always, always seems like such a dream in real life and on screen. He just warms your heart. Yes, yes and yes again! Merwin Mondesir is quite a looker. We all knew Wade would go back to Noah, but I wish we could have seen more of Dre. He was one of my favorite supporting cast members. I hated the fact that the movie didn't even acknowledge him. We don't know if he survived that crash or not. Just re-watched season 1 after many years and I had to come here to see if anyone commented on T-Money's kissing technique. I wonder if he did that because he's straight and that's his way to not really kiss a guy. Maybe Patrick Ian Polk left it in because it was so bad that it was worth seeing. I did like the actor in his role but that kissing was beyond awful. You're not alone. That's still my favorite X-men movie. It's far from a masterpiece but it has tons of action, emotion and some good laughs. Although it's been critically panned, it remains the top domestic X-men movie in terms of box office. I haven't seen the movie yet and don't know if I will. Constantly having Mystique in this role has always been one of my biggest complaints about these "X-men" movies of late. The fact that she and Magneto take away so much screen time from the actual X-men is such a slap in the face to longtime fans. Cyclops and Storm who were actual leaders, take a back seat in screen time and capability in this current version of the group while so much focus is placed on Jennifer Lawrence and the guy who plays Magneto. Hopefully the Marvel representation will be truer to the actual group. I would have to agree. This was just bad. There was a lot of potential but the execution was horrible beyond belief. Most of the actors were awful. The special effects were a joke. They should have left well enough alone if this was all they could come up with. You got your wish. It was mentioned. I mean "represented" in an accurate way and as a true ensemble team. Both Storm and Cyclops were very strong leaders in the comics. However you'd never know that by the way they have been portrayed in these movies. And Rogue was a very strong character as well but not here. They have mostly been seen as secondary characters. That's what I want to change. Cyclops, Storm, Rogue, Colossus, etc., etc. have all gotten the shaft in these movies. Characters like Mystique and Magneto (who were not X-men in the comics) eat up much of the screen time that could be devoted to “real” X-men. This is something I’ve hated about these movies for years. I know many people hate X-men: The Last Stand but that is my favorite of the bunch. Storm, Kitty and many other X-men finally got to really shine and they all kicked butt. I’m really hoping that Marvel does the X-men justice like they do The Avengers. Everyone is represented in those movies so I’m hopeful that we’ll finally see the X-men like they should be. P.S. Go away Jennifer Lawrence. And give us a break from Magneto. Where are all the other X-men villains? Where are The Brood, Mojo and Mr. Sinister. Even though I liked (not loved) Batman vs. Superman, I can truly say that I am not a fan of Zack Snyder. Most of his stuff sucks. Surely there are better, more exciting producers out there. I'm so tired of these judgmental, "perfect" people bringing this up. This was some 30 years ago. What he did is wrong, yes. And it's not excusable. However, he did the crime and he did jail time for his actions. And this is a lot more than a lot of Hollywood execs have done. Plus, from what I know he has not done this again. All these unforgiving people who have never done anything wrong in their life should take a seat. Granted this is an extreme case but people do wrong/very bad things all the time. If he's cleaned up his act, let it go and move on. Geez.
