Let me get this straight.
You came to a completely random forum thread to not answer any questions; but to instead ask them. Not to learn anything about the movie or to help others but to try to make yourself sound morally superior but instead, ultimately, you're still unhappy with your life?
Just finished the movie. My understanding (from the film) was that he was a alcoholic transvestite who suffered a severe head injury from right wing homophobic idiots.

I just finished watching it and had to come here just to work out what the f**k i just watched.
Its from tropic thunder.
Basically this movie was attempting to be oscar bait.
You can win oscars by portraying people with learning difficulties but only if those learning difficulties arw palatable to audiences. This movie is literally unappealing and unwatchable more than once.

Youre right. I think Marla is real. Jack has a job so why would he sell clothes? Why would he confuse one of his own characters that hes made up?
Also, as she says in the film. She technically has a right to be there because she doesnt have testicles

As Jack hes quite tepid but as Tyler he is EXTREMELY charismatic and thrilling.
Madonna. This has to be Madonna.
