Saving Private Ryans first scene was good (although in reality there were only about 50 Romanian conscripts or some such defending their positions against wave after wave of Americans) the rest was typical American sillyness that no one outside the Sates takes seriously. Yep... because it's (that is, English) is our language. Funny that. Corden is an irritating fat talentless oaf. But can we see what you look like? I really don't understand how Cavill is seen as good for the role. He is far too hench and his jawline is way too square and nothing like how Geralt is described in the books or portrayed in the game. Sufficed to say I was not at all enamoured by the series. I played the Witcher 3 and loved it because of the tone it set, the story it told and the atmosphere it delivered; this delivered a platter of dullness and mediocrity. Isn't that something we're more used to seeing from American themed war films? Propaganda? I think you'll find there won't be any show boating on this one. Harsh... but ultimately true. That's utter rubbish in my opinion. Christopher Reeve was a good looking man though. It's crazy how are perceptions of peoples looks are so manipulated by the media. Crazy protein shake/steroid muscles do not necessarily make a man strong - in our society especially it is often a way to hide insecurity. Bit of an insult to people with actual game changing deformities no? That girl is hot and 99.9% of straight fellas would tap that without question even if the birthmark covered the other half of her face. When she was on about not looking anything like her video game character I was expecting some kind of hole in her face or an actual deformity that would be unattractive to look at but instead it's a mild birthmark. Get real. Would our main protagonist be so keen if she actually had something nasty on her face? That'd would test his resolve and constitution. View all replies >
