That confused me also. She also withstands Homelander's laser vision....mostly "There are worse tragedies in life" Well.....yeah...It's not like I said it was going to be 9/11 meets the holocaust if it was bad Not looking forward to this at all. I love the original. But imagine this is just going to be another "sequel" that is just a remake of the first movie Holy shit! I thought I was the only one that happened to. I get what you mean. It's a pretty meh franchise to begin with. The first one was solid. The rest I didn't take to. This one I just don't give a damn about and don't see what people are hyped about. It's the same ole, same ole. Tired formula like the Terminator movies. I agree. It's a cool concept, but yeah it loses steam pretty quickly. Thank GOD...But AMC are such idiots, they've already confirmed a Daryl and Carol spin-off so basically the only two original characters left on the show that people potentially care whether they survive the end or not....Now know..they survive 2 years in advance. That's shit....What happened to releasing the entire season in one go? I like being able to watch the episodes at my own pace, instead of waiting week to week to week. Ugh Wow, sounds more like an out of body experience, either way I am sure it was incredible. I haven't seen it, but I'm not surprised. Train to Busan was fantastic. There was no need for a follow up. I was completely surprised when I saw the trailer that they were actually doing a sequel....but yeah not surprised it's a disappointment. Let's hope I don't make it that far 3000 years....Wow....some of you obviously seem to enjoy living. The years are what you make of them, BullSchmidt. Good for you, BullSchmidt. That's just my own personal feelings on it. 50 years is more than enough for me lol. Yup. Sure why not? You die at 50 when you've lived essentially a complete life. All you'd be missing out on then is the years were your body/mind deteriorates further and further until your a shadow of your former self. Sounds like a good deal to me. The Phantom Menace at least brought something new to the star Wars universe and wasn't just a rehash of A New Hope. Good for him. I am looking forward to this. I was hoping Kripke would give him a part in the show. I guess not but it took like a second to type, so why not? Lol I read the script for The Lost Girls : It had some good-ish things in it. It mainly focused on Sam and Frog Brothers along with two sisters, one of which had fallen for one of the new Lost Boys (David also was still alive) The script had some fun bits, but it was also lazy at certain parts...I can't quite remember the details, but some stuff just came off that way as I read it. Maybe the right director would have been able to improve on some of the material. I get how the return of David sounds good....but some of his lines were not that great. "I feel the need, the need to feed" But who knows maybe he would have been able to elevate the material. There was also a bit too much references to Dracula. The Mayor is called Alucard, the sister's surname is Harker...it was a bit much. I guess looking back they could have made some simple changes to fix these. I think overall, it would have been better received than the sequels we got. The humor is much the same, story is similar enough, all the stuff with Sam was great. I really think Corey Haim would have been able to nail all the humor with Sam that they had in the script. There was also a script for a prequel about how The Lost Boys were turned into vampires.....meh...not a fan of prequels. I mean....the two are aware that there is an afterlife and heaven is real, yet instead of just playing their roles during season 5, causing the end of the world, killing everyone in the process, who would then move on to this heavenly afterlife, instead their like "Nah....who would want an eternity of peace? Let people have a lifetime of misery in a world filled with monsters"
