It's not overrated at all. It was a 3 hour TV mini series, chopped into 3 hourly episodes. And watching just an hour of it, isn't the same as watching the whole lot. Obviously. I watched it from start to finish one night a few weeks ago and it still scared me sh*tless. One Stephen King adaptation I think is overrated is IT. That was awful. I'm talking about the 1990s mini series. Absolute crap. Maybe... But then again the way he was eating his sandwich and casually saying...'cut what out?' I knew it wasn't him. Oh right, I was going to watch that about an hour ago, but I was kinda put off by the blonde girl on the stairs. I can't see any similarity between The Avengers and The Twilight Zone. Hammer House of Horror and later Hammer House of Mystery and Suspense, Thriller (UK), Journey to the Unknown, Tales of the Unexpected were more like Twilight Zone than The Avengers can ever be. Which episode is this?? If it's boredom, then that isn't Hell. That lifestyle is available to anyone who wins the $480 million Lottery. Ha, love loads of money and any woman of my choice. LOL. If that's Hell, I'll take it. :p Brilliant actor. So many roles, including the Invaders. 91, a good age though. RIP. :( Thanks for some optimism. I will try to watch the second half. Ryan has made a load of sh*t movies. One in which he starred but was killed off in the first 3 minutes. I don't know. I am stuck at 40 minutes...and that was three days ago. Nevertheless, I thought it was a rather whimsical episode, with no real cool ending other than 'no you're in Hell - not Heaven, which I kinda realised as soon as he got there. I just expected a bigger surprise. As I said. Yes but many people living in poverty, fear and hate, would love a Hell like that. That's where the episode falls flat for me. Perhaps the ending should have been more severe, like showing the guy this enjoyment wasn't gonna last and he will in fact burn in Hell. Know what I mean... Haha, fair enough. Three was it. Yeah Robert was good as the ice cream man. Love Shatner also with one of the first VCRs, drugging his friend then waking him up. LOL. Think I will watch that episode today. :) It typifies the lousy plot. The script is terrible. The script is poor. I am surprised Mr Jackson agreed to do this. He is capable of so much better. I find it dragging out and stretched out. That kid lying in the coffin with his little suit on, his arms crossed, and strange eyes...scared me, even before he jumped up!!
