I saw it very shortly after that in the theater. Liked it quite a bit and still it.
She actually did in a movie called "Nickel Mountain (1984)."
It had a nice buildup.
Despite her feelings about celebrity and feminist leanings, she did appear in some unpretentious, very straight male magazines CIRCA 1997-2004 (you probably wouldn't see a legit actress doing that now - I'm not sure those magazines are still around anyway?). Also, her Instagram post about returning to "Scream" reads like Spyglass came up with.
I'm not judging, I just find all this interesting.
She's becoming a legend.
It also reminds me of a lighter, but more farcical version of those 90s Brady Bunch movies.

What did you think of the Jo character? For me, I'm not sure the writer knew exactly what he was going for - and Chastain was probably miscast - but it's still a trip to see her play someone like this. I love morally ambiguous female characters - even when they're clumsily written. Although, some reviewers see her as pure evil, but I don't read it that way.

There's a ton of stories like this. Even crazier. I think the film industry in the 80s/early 90s was still operating like the wild west. Crazy shit still happens, but back then, it was much more common, open and hardly anyone working within that system gave a shit.
It would have been a bit believable (but still a stretch) had they colored his hair.
She did have a few sexy roles in dumb mainstream comedies and one indie, but no nudity or even a hot sex scene.
