We already know that the author planned for Jon to be the son of Rhaegar and Lyanna, and that is why he cannot stay dead in the books, otherwise why would he add a twist like that to the story? He let D&D create the show only after they successfully guessed who Jon's parents were.
The keyword was "try". Obviously no one, not even Jaime, was able to convince her. The question is, could Cercei have predicted that Tyrion would be the one to be sent into her room. I think it was safe for her to assume that the Team Dany wouldn't just give up and leave after going to all that trouble to capture and bring the wight to KL, so she must have been expecting someone.
I thought about that but I don't think the people in the GoT universe are concerned about drinking while pregnant. Also, she was drinking when she met with the guy from the Iron Bank. I thought that was after she revealed to Jaime that she is pregnant.
I think there was something in the wine Tyrion drank in Cercei's room. They made it a point to show us him pouring wine into another glass for Cercei, but she didn't drink it even though she's practically a functioning alcoholic. It's not that far-fetched that Cercei knew Tryion would be the one to come and try to convince her to change her mind about the truce and everyone who knows Tryrion would expect him to go for the wine at some point during their conversation. That could have been planned just like she had planned for Euron's fake fleeing.
Having said that, I wouldn't like it if the show, in the very last season, introduces a potion that allows you to make people do things for you. That would be stupid, so I hope I'm wrong.
San Junipero. Beautiful and incredibly touching story. Yorkie was so painfully vulnerable, which required great writing and acting.
I didn't see that twist coming either. I thought the restaurant scene was to show how nice he is; the kid causes a big spillage and he has to clean it up, yet is still kind enough to give her the toy she forgets.
I have a question though. How did the hackers show what he was looking at while jerking off? When they showed a shot of his room being filmed right after he downloaded the virus, did we see it through his desktop?
