I prefer to be alone. I know this because I was single and lived by myself for several years. Yes, and many smelly ones have gotten far too close to me. 🤮 Ever since I learned he doesn't wear deodorant, I imagine I can smell him. 😬😄 Someone on a different thread wrote that, in the book, the couple who lived there had gone out of town. They were stuck in an airport with no way to get home. Best explanation I've read, especially regarding the ending. You are such a hater and seem like a miserable old shriveled up prune of a man. Thank you! Sounded like Heather to me. Wish I knew the story. What was the reason behind what happened? I don't think there was ever an explanation. My answer is NO. I was bored as hell and fell asleep a few times during the film. If he saw it, and liked it, I'd love to know. He would get a glimpse of a full frontal nude Scarlett, or possibly her stand-in. Also, he'll see two men kissing. If you don't want him seeing either of these, you may want to steer him away. I came out here to see if anyone thinks he looks like a young Larry Hagman! 🙂 I think you're replying to me and possibly suspect I'm male. Well, I'm a woman, sooooo...Lol. I do think she's beautiful, but her midsection looks like it could be problematic for her (at least how it looked to me in the movie) in the future. Aging sucks, but those of us who are lucky enough to do it have our physical struggles. And, so what. Hope I'm wrong and she feels confident rocking a swimsuit for decades! 🙂 I didn't pick that up from the trailer I watched. But, I watched it after I saw the movie, where I didn't get the feeling Nike had anything to do with Jordan's rise. He did all that with his talent alone, IMO. The division was just excited that he hired them after a great deal of wooing on their parts. They were the underdogs, and he saved them, not the other way around. 🙂 These actors are playing the roles of real people who actually exist(ed). They are only heros to the people whose jobs they more than likely saved in the basketball division at Nike. If someone made a movie about YOU and your accomplishments, would you want someone of a different race playing you? Imagine a black woman playing Marilyn Monroe or a white woman playing Diana Ross. This movie is about people who actually exist. The story is of a determined employee (can't remember his position) of Nike who went above and beyond and didn't easily take no for an answer. If not for him, and the coworkers that he had a hard time convincing to go along with his plan, the their basketball division might not be in business today. I'm not even a sports fan and love the story. A funny, feel good movie, but not in a sappy way. The actor playing Michael Jordan barely makes an appearance. I also enjoyed this movie. It reminds me of when I worked for a startup software company back in the '80s. So many times we were on the verge of going out of business when a hungry sales rep managed to grab an account away from a bigger competitor. Or, when our hotshot CFO convinced a bank to give us another chance when financing through another fell through. Seeing our company grow from 16, when I started, to thousands worldwide. Exciting, fun, times those '80s! Yeah, we agree that Robbie should've updated her hairstyle throughout the movie. That would've been more realistic for the times. I found several photos of Bessie supposedly taken throughout the 1920s, which are the years you originally mentioned. She had long curly hair in enough of them for me to see that she is at least one of the actresses they were modeling Robbie's character after. The naked under the overalls photo is the smoking gun, IMO. Obviously, Bessie changed her hairstyle over the years, but Robbie kept hers the same throughout the whole movie. It would've been more fitting if she had updated her hair as the film progressed. See pics 1, 7, 23, 24, & 38....https://www.vintag.es/2016/11/bessie-love-innocent-flapper-of.html?m=1
