I literally agree with every single word you said on this thread. Loved John in T2. I could see him becoming the future leader of the resistance. Stahl however, what a JOKE. I haven't seen DF yet, I know I've been spoiled throughout this thread, no worries. I knew what I was getting myself into. I think the best continuation of the terminator franchise after T2 was the show Sarah Connor Chronicles. Did a great job of expanding the universe and answering questions. Like...why just send one? Well, they didn't. They sent many who were all putting pieces in place to takeover. Beautiful show. Agreed! FALSE! That's fair. I wish they had the opportunity to show their work more but...that's fair. Good call. As discussed by Tyrion in the episode...the bells did mean surrender. She went on a crazy irrational rampage that was not earned from a writing standpoint! I get her going for the red keep or whatever is but...to kill all those innocents? For what?! To symbolize she is the mad queen?! That wasn't really earned. I love the show but...IDK who this falls on...but perhaps it is HBO not wanting to dole out the cash so all these events can have their proper buildup. I get it from a business standpoint but yeah. Do you talk to many girls? You speak so kindly of them when you disagree with their actions. Could be totally wrong but...that's the only person I can think of. I wondered this too...my best guess is that it was the kid who helped him in Iron-Man 3... Yeah, you get me! Cutting to him crawling to the toilet after a hangover would have the same meaning! My post was sarcasm but I mildly disagree with your sentiment. I honestly can't say the bulk of Marvel films are adult films. They aren't G of course, I just think they are true general audience movies. Adults can see them just fine and not feel like a kid while kids, for the most part...can see them as well and enjoy the movie without their parents fearing they may be too young. In appeal, they remind of 90s family sitcoms....something for all ages where neither parties will be bored. When it comes to DC, I can appreciate the darker tone, or more adult tone perhaps...the biggest mistake they made was handing the keys to Snyder and slapping it together and rushing things out.
