I'm old enough to remember no options at all - places where smoking was permitted everywhere. I was so glad when that changed. I'm old enough to remember people smoking everywhere, including in hospitals, and it still grosses me out. Not only is beauty in the eye of the beholder, people on this planet smoke at the nurses' station, just like humans did in 1960! What a coincidence! Where is Everybody is on now. I like how they show the character's brains and resourcefulness. He keeps fighting the fear, and even thinks it's all a dream at one point. Makes sense, considering who he is. Was that an on-purpose nap, or one of those conked out in the chair ones I know all too well? :-) Hi, all! I'll be here off and on - gotta do chores, and am "cheating" with the Dr. Who marathon, as well. Watching The Execution now. He really was versatile, and one of those actors who was not vain about having started as a handsome leading man -- he sunk his teeth into character roles. TCM was showing the short film of The Telltale Heart, and I tried to figure out where else I'd seen the actor playing the young man before, without clicking the "info" button on the remote. I had to look. Now, THIS is a young-looking Joseph (he was 45): https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BM2Q5M2MyODItYWViZi00NTY0LWJlMDAtZTFkNjIxMTczOWUyXkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyMTcxMDM5MDQ@._V1_.jpg And for a really different look, how about his role as the Duc D'Orleans, in Marie Antoinette: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/f7/1c/04/f71c04dbed1fdd51f7a87b6681e81db3.png "Makes you wonder if the Brady Bunch writers were fans of this episode." LOL! Does anyone name kids Marsha anymore, or it is out of style now? I grew up with some Marshas (I'm in my 60s, from the heyday of Susans, Nancys, Debbies, Patricias, Marys, Cathys and Lindas). I just came back to say "Marsha! Marsha!" Climb off it, Marsha! Let's think happy thoughts, folks. View all replies >
