What you just described is way more plausible
I got the impression his daughter or the boy that helped him in the 3rd movie would become the next Iron man, as everybody hated the black female iron man in the comics.
I thought it was very melodramatic. You mean to tell me with all we have experienced the we wouldn't recover quickly? Realistically, I would see property becoming cheaper, more emphasis on getting people into meaningful work, incentives for people to have more children, better policed mass immigration and Starks robots filling in at certain points. Also I expected people to hurl abuse at the Avengers for not being able to save the world.
Im trying to get MY family to watch it :)
