What I liked about Clint's performance is that he didn't give it the gruff tough voice he's given throughout most of his career. It's his regular voice and that's why his performance is so powerful. Sad if this is his last.

This really was a fun, entertaining, and not very great film. Fun moments but certain parts are just too over the top to take seriously. Tom Hardy is what makes it worth watching.

Totally agree. Classic and breathtaking.
Though I still haven't seen the original, I still loved 2049. The acting, story, and cinematography were all great.
