I liked it, it was sort of a 90/00's style comedy like 10 things i hate about you, A knights tale and she's all that, French kiss, not the most brilliant but decent enough and loved how romeo was kinda a heath ledger look like and always loved kaitlyn from last man standing and she was good in this with minnie drivers dry humour. to me, this was just a basic good movie, but the content wasn't that serious at all and there was no real moral to the predator who was basically picking off anything it saw, same as predators, least the predator 1 and 2 the predator had a code and ethic and it was hunting to find the best opponent, while getting rid of any armed threats - so a sense of purpose. in terms of the intensity this was just a basic pop-corn movie, no intensity at all, the predator killed who it liked and the comanche tried to defend themselves and at the end it was go back to home while there was no grieving or anything. Just finished watching the Comanche version and it does make it alittle better - would say it would go to 7.25 if it was in filmed in full comanche audio, but as a dub i would push it from 7 to 7.10 don't worry i'll put a few dollars in your g-string. I'll give you a standing ovation for exhibit b, my my you are very clever. I'll give it a watch and update - thank you :-) I do feel sorry for your mom, she raised you and how disappointed she must be - to have taught you if you don't have anything nice to say then keep quiet but there you go anyway. The language of the species actually does match the people. most of the characters were western actors in suits/voice artists speak either in english or made up languages? Lets take star trek next gen - would it have looked o.k if the klingon spoke in hindi rather then a made up language? or whoopi goldberg spoke in fleunt Chinese? or Patrick Stewart spoke in fluent russian? Does your contention still make sense to you? Yes it does. the films you listed were white people speaking english and it looked totally fine and this is natives speaking english, which not only sounded wrong but looked weird. same as some bollywood or korean actors speaking English next to English actors which makes then looks funny and weird, think of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas speaking, she looks funny even though she is more use to speaking english from a young age but it still looks weird. there no masterpieces but they do have some good scenes in them, so the potential was there for them to be good, just a shame so many bad choices meant they were kinda lacklustre. Not seen the dubbed version yet, just the english audio version, didn't want the old kung-fu style lips slower than voices, but i might just give it a go if it's done good. i disagree, the first too are much better overall, from start to finish, whereas the setting up of this story wasn't that great and kinda boring, but gets better as the movie goes along and no fantastic music or scenes like the first 2 movies had. I disagree, i can re-watch the original & Predator 2 easily, but predators is a big chore with few hit but mostly misses that have to be skipped and The Predator is pretty muchy unwatchable - there is very tiny redeeming qualities to it, even the AVP ones have bits of good things to them. I think the same predator 2 was a decent sequel that expanded and but kept the same tone and details, yes it could had a better lead man but even then i think Danny Glover did a decent job along with the others with big shoes to ill as a sequel. Plus Kevin peter Hall embodied the predator and none of the other come close to his version. Never really liked Predators, the setting was good and stars were o.kish. The so called 'super predators' were killed to easily. The war between the different type of predators just didn't work. Adrien Brody tried too much to be a badass and it looked terrible. Topher Grace's character shouldn't have even been in the movie. Laurence Fishbourne character was stupid but should have helped the group out. The dogs were a stupid addition. hopefully the next one is much better as the original 2 are still top for me. There are only 2 other scenes in the trailer i can see which you might be talking about. one with when the predator is holding one of the frenchman against the tree and another ones next to him and he flicks the axe and kills the second frenchman with the axe and then cuts the first's one head with his shield. (1:04.43 in the movie) the second other part is where it's Naru not a frenchman that is standing next to a tree and she runs away - while the predator comes flying in and hits the tree with his hand knives, which impale the tree. (1:24.52 in the movie) The predator chucking it and then the camera angles in from below showing everything being crushed on top and the net going back into the holder, they should of shown the net crushing the guy and the log from the top or side angle instead. Definitely poor angle shot and kinda dark aswell had to re-watch that bit. its the same as AVP - the predator fires a net at running frenchman that twists around him and the log and crushes/cut the man along with the log and net goes back into its holder. same as AVP when the predator fires the net onto the alien but the alien manages to break free but has all the square cuts on his face.
