I highly doubt that Lyanna knew anything about Elia and the children being murdered. But, I'm sure they told her about Rhaegar. My thinking is that Rhaegar told her about the PTWP prophecy and that he wanted that child to be named Aegon, so she did it. That's the only way it makes sense to me.
They never named Elia and Rhaegar's children in the show.
Exactly! He didn't anticipate Bran, that's where he messed up. He had no idea who Arya is now. He thought he had Sansa in his back pocket and could keep manipulating her! He was wrong!
