I wouldn’t discount the possibility, but based on the information we have now, I don’t think so. Kim didn’t want to do the other movies that much either. I think that she has been playing this character for a long time, and I believe she loved the character and put her all into the show, but that she’s probably ready to move on now and focus on other things.
Some people have really trolled her and made nasty comments saying that she owes her fans to continue to make play Samantha and make a 3rd movie. I saw the first and it was good. It didn’t have the magic of the show so much, but it was pretty good. I watched about 5 seconds of the second one and couldn’t stop cringing so I shut it off. That’s not the best track record either. Anyway, she doesn’t owe us, her fans, to continue to play this part as long as we demand it. It’s her life and she has to live it out the best way for her. So, after that long rant, my apologies, I think Kim is really ready to move on znd do not believe this is a publicity stunt.
