The more I watch this I never get the feeling she was into Chuck as much as he was into her. They were both headed down different career paths even without Chuck being lost at sea. It was never meant to be. For me? Sadness, anger, anxiety, stress, depression. I hate the holidays. And im in the upper Midwest and its already cold as hell and there is snow on the ground not to mention its pitch black out up here at like 4 oclock in the afternoon. Yeah as soon as the calendar hits Nov 1 I go into a massive funk and cant get myself out of it until March or April. The Old Man and The Sea. Yeah big time. September and October are my favorite months. I can already feel the depression setting in. I cant stand Thanksgiving, Christmas and I get my birthday in January. I just dont do well with family get togethers, the stress of it all during those months, the cold weather. Its just complete misery for me. And I cant stand Hallmarks Christmas movies which have already started playing. I just wanna puke. If I could just disappear until next Labor Day weekend I would, ha. Silver Bullet. Great movie. I always tear up at the end when Marty and Jane say they love each other and the voiceover which is suspose to be an older Jane says she wasn't always able to say that to her brother. But Busey was also excellent. Classic Busey in this movie. Ive watched at least parts of this movie probably 20 times this month alone Freeform. I just watched tonight again, ha. This film just grabs me in the Fall for some reason. Yeah I cant figure it out. Its just a good Halloween themed movie. I refuse to see it because its laughable that the film industry wants us to think Myers is still alive and going after his sister. That ship has sailed man. Im sorry. Strode should have been killed in part 2 for sure but really at the end of part 1 and the story should have ended. Couldn't even make it through 45 minutes. Thought it was terrible. Cant wait until the Ladybugs reunion. Hoepfully they get Jackee to host. I hate when hes getting sentimental about his HS days and he says something like and im paraphrasing here, "all I ever did was get high and get laid, it was the best time of my life." When I was in HS and saw this movie I laughed at that part and didn't understand it fully. But as an adult it was sad hearing that because I understand what hes saying. You dont give a crap as a kid, its all new, theres no expectations, everything is an experience good or bad, it doesn't matter. But as an adult it has to work all the time, your job, your marriage, being a parent. Everything has to be right or your looked at as being a failure. His screams were a little over the top. I love the second one. The beginning bus ride scene. You just see the top of Freddy's hat kind of bouncing to the movements of the bus as he takes them out to the desert. Pool party scene is also legendary. The kids trying to talk to him, ha. Yes many times as a kid. I would wake up in the dream in the living room, lights are all on. Then I hear Freddy calling for me from over by the upstairs. I walk over there and he jumps from behind the wall and right before he stabs me I wake up. So strange I remember that. I see your point. The problem is Scary Movie 2 has ruined it for me. Every time I see Exorcist I cant stop thinking of Andy Richter and James Woods. Then I just start laughing. Ha, yes. I was also going to say that. Its also very sunny and dry on the ground. By the time Laurie gets to her house from walking home from school it clearly has rained but we never see it rain. I would say Scream 1 and 2. Clueless. Blair Witch. Ed. Austin Powers. The Sandlot. The Butter Cream Gang. Many already mentioned. That scene always makes me laugh. She says something like, "Im gonna ride that bull." Doesn't Bud hit her or something and says in his fake Texas accent, "I dont ever wanna hear you say that again." lol. That just cracks me up. True. Do I really need two months of Hallmark channel Christmas movies? Not really. Yea that's a little too way back for me. Im talking about the basics. The Halloweens, Friday the 13ths, Nightmare on Elm Streets, Christine, Pet Cemetery, The Fog, Swamp Thing, etc. Its October! Air them! Like tonight all that's on is Addams Family on Freeform. That's it! Come on now. Meryl was total smoke in this movie. She was so fit.
