Probably not as grown up as you think
Um….yes….the movie ends like they are all buddies…traveling on the seas together….dont know what you talking about.
My problem with the ending is…..we are supposed to decide the dragon is just a hurt misunderstood creature….that would never have killed all these “innocent” women that were just kinda disguised as royalty…because she really thought she was just killing a bunch of great-great-great-great granddaughters of a guy who did a terrible thing….because of course those girls woulda really deserved it.
I went camping with some friends in Maryland the week after we watched it…make fun all you want….but the fear adrenaline was real.
Whatever….it was innovative and great at the time…I believe the number one thing a movie should be is great in it’s time….sometimes because the underlying story or concept becomes cliched or some of the technical aspects don’t age well…it may not appear so great later….but I think that’s irrelevant if the audience in real time is into it.
That seems like a problem to correct

Dude…any movie made for an English speaking audience needs to be in English (mostly, at least)….alien races…..ancient Romans..whatever….speak English…..if it’s made for China, speak Chinese….the medium works best when you are experiencing the words and language and understanding together
If it’s a private facility….they can kick out whoever they want….as long as it’s not for protected class reasons….race mainly.
Oliver knew and did a lot of things that he probably shouldn’t have…he could have spent time learning how to place that equipment correctly…he was an Oxford guy or something after all…
And there would always be the suggestion that she pulled it out herself in some kind of fit and he just wasn’t around to do anything about it.
