Agreed, too many plot holes in the show. At the end the kid is locked up again after being locked up previously for 27 years..Only J.J Abrams can create a cluster fuck like castle rock..this is going to be another "Lost"...good luck going down the rabbit hole..it will end with another 9 years wasted with more unanswered questions
Totally agree..The atmosphere was beautiful though..I really felt like I was back in time...but story wise WTF?? Don't fuck with a house full of christian girls or they will chop your fucking leg off!! Actually Sofia Coppola wanted to cut the the guys dick off but that would be too direct lol

I was really into the first half of the movie. The second half just seems to drag on to nowhere. Shame though it had an interesting take on revenge films.
Finally found a new good horror flick. Gave it an 8/10 on IMDB.
I actually thought it was one long take and was impressed initially. I'm disappointed now but in all honesty it would be extremely difficult to have done so in one take. The king of long takes to me is still "oldboi" and "secret in their eyes".

I never read the book so I'm not sure if my suggestions are covered. I would have loved if they explored the origin of Pennywise, who was he? where did he come from? his name? I enjoyed the mini series because it had "the goonies" vibe to it. Although it was done here (swimming) it just seemed a bit forced. They also got rid of the racism issues, The N-word scene was not included. Why did the bullies pick the black kid for no reason, in the mini series even the n-word was used. It just made the original more realistic. That's just my opinion. I can't think of any remake in the past couple of years that were good.
Agreed, it was just a updated version of the mini series...nothing was added to make it different than the original. This proves that all remakes sucks!
season 2 is gonna be about BTK?? It's gonna be amazing!!
