Did you have a stroke? Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaabbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Ya I loved this movie a lot, but I too noticed that Amanda was way different than I recalled from the previous ones, not just obviously in looks due to how many years it's been but just the way she acted. Also wtf they make her hair so dumb looking lol? lol what kinda question is that? My podcast just interviewed him at Crypticon KC and he seemed nice, curious why you say that? Watching the 4k now and I do agree you can definitely see the creepiness shining through especially during that softball game at the beginning. The slowmo of the braless chick running, and that really young looking girl in those crazy short shorts. Yes I mean I don't disagree, but grown men stating that to a crowd of people about high school girls is. So I just rewatched this movie today, and I remember thinking the same thing when I first watched it like 15 years ago but honestly on this rewatch no I do not think he was acting like Ryan Reynolds in Van Wilder. He does bare a striking resemblance to a young Ryan but on this rewatch I definitely didn't get that same impression I did the first watch. Sad that 3 years after I replied to this post, we still haven't seen any mention of a release. I mentioned it to Terror Vision the other day as they were asking for suggestions, and they are going to be putting out non-horror stuff in the future so maybe there's a chance! Watched last night, was very good and I can definitely see more being made with the way it ended. That way of thinking is absolutely crazy. There is no gay stuff even in the film, ya they are a gay couple but it's not a freaking adult film or anything dude, the whole thing is really just centered around ****spoilers**** them being held captive until they off one of themselves to save the planet. If you don't watch a film or show just because it has gay people in it then that really sucks for you and you are missing out on a lot of amazing stuff. I'm not gay by the way, but I just don't look down upon it like so many people do such as yourself. Ya she was the only reason I bothered watching, and man her body is insane! I think she was definitely standing funny, like very exaggerated curving of her back but maybe that was because she was supposed to be an android. But wow, ya, hot! Sadly the casting director made terrible choices. While they were all great to look at, their acting is what really brought this potential great slasher down multiple stars, they were soooooo terrible. I had such high hopes, and blind bought the steelbook based off how it looked and the trailer was well put together. Sadly the final product was full of terrible acting, really bad dialogue, drawn out opening with the character Audra doing a lot of strange talking to herself and acting wierd. There were also many strange sudden changes in camera, like during parts where one of the girls was getting killed the camera would suddenly switch to a view outside in the front yard where there was nothing there nor any reason to do that, and it did it multiple times. There were quite a few such instances of this that just made no sense. Kane needed much more screen time too, when he was on was really the only time it was good. Sadly this was a 2 out of 5 for me, and really only for the Kane parts and the eye candy. I am a huge Halloween series fan and I loved this one, but I do think it was a very strange choice to end it with. I loved the new character introduction, and they really made you feel sorry for him, at least to me, and he was a very interesting character but a very strange choice to introduce him in the last film. lol how did nobody catch on that you actually left before the movie ended?! There is a part where she dies and credits start rolling, but it's not really the end, you left with about 30 min left in the film still lol! I watched this just for laughs and honestly I kinda dug it, ya the monster was hilariously bad but there was some great eyecandy and I really just like the whole camping in the woods setting. The one in Conjuring was actually really dumb and laughable, the one in X I thought was very soothing and touching, and like somebody else said it was like a calm before the violence. I finally just watched this after hearing so much bad about it. Ya it's no masterpiece obviously, and I'm sure it wasn't even intended to be. Despite the terrible CGI effects on the boat which were so laughably horrible, and that early scene in the bathroom which was sorta cringy, it was a fun watch. lol that was my first thought when he showed up when the main dude first saw him, very striking resemblance! Weird here I thought that was him, that they did some kinda splicing magic to take clips from an old one and put into the new one lol
