Butch’s matches are televised and everything so Vince probably recognizes him. As to why that is, Vince is a pretty opinionated guy and likely looks down on bums who take a fall for the mob.
I’ve heard there was no official report of any gangs committing ACO-related crimes but rather, it was the media trying to get people to believe entertainment/art causes violence (something that has yet to fully go away).

She never had her own series or anything. She was a side character who mostly showed up every now and then to help Spider-Man solve crimes. She had a larger and much cooler role in the Spider-Man cartoon in the 90s. Anyway, even comic fans were curious why they woukd make a movie about her.
No. Daisy Ridley confirmed Colin Treverrow had the idea of making Rey a Kenobi but since his vision didn’t gel with what was going on with Last Jedi, he was fired. They brought Abrams back and since he was only supposed to do the first film, it’s unlikely he had any real plans for how the story would initially end. Abrams has a habit of setting up a bunch of subplots and “mystery boxes” with no plan on paying them off (see also: Lost and Cloverfield).

It’ll survive but it’s hard for it not to be tainted. Vince’s dad started the company but once it got off the ground in the early 80s and was renamed WWF, Vince ran the show for the next several decades. He was in charge for its most prolific eras and also was a driving force in bringing wrestling to a more mainstream audience. Talking about wrestling history from this point on will always have an asterisk.
My point being that those other characters have fans and franchises while Madame Web never did as she was just a side character who appeared sporadically in Spider-Man.
Iron Man and Deadpool had a fanbase and have had their own comic series, cartoons, video games, toys, etc.
Madame Web never had those things.
Going by Secret Invasion, they didn’t stop being morons.
I think it was meant to he but did they specifically say the name Jessica Drew? That might be a way around the copyrights.
I think Marvel/Disney has the rights to Spider-Woman and Sony has the rights to… the rest. So they made a movie about The Rest.
