Yeah but is current MCU really the ones to make a definitive version of the Fantastic Four. They stop caring about the source material a long time ago. Hell they made Namor into a Mexican.
It depends, are you child at heart. They weren't the best films. But for the most part they totally captured the spirit of the Stan Lee/Jack Kirby comics. I have no faith that Modern MCU will even accomplish that. On top of that the Cast of the 05 movies was 90% spot on. Nobody going to top Michael Chiklis as The Thing. He put everything into that role.
I have no interest in it. Just like i had no interest in the Marvels. I think people are getting sick of Superhero movies. It was cool for a decade or two. But now its like who gives a shit. Its why all these movies are bombing. I don't Marvel will do any better than Tim Story did back in 00's. MCU hasn't cared about the source material in a pretty long time. Look at Namor in Black Panther 2.
If you have to be abused to achieve Perfection. Than its not fucking worth it. Also he wanted be great at Jazz. Which mean even if he was great. Nobody would give a shit. Its still a shitty movie that glorifies abuse.

Frankly i think GOTG 3 and Super Mario were both Better. This movie wasn't even better than Into the Spider-verse. It was longer and more convoluted. I found nothing outstanding about it at all. It dosn't even feel like a Superhero movie.
If Into the Spider-verse didn't get Best Picture Nod. Then i doubt this will. At best it get Best Animated Feature like last time.
They originally wanted to get Amy Schumer to play Barbie. No way it would made a billion with her. Not to mention it would of been a huge red flag of what this movie was actually about.
Yeah too bad that only one of those movies are worth watching.
This is the dumbest movie ive seen all year. The only thing that makes it Entertaining is Ken.

I don't hate this movie anymore than i hate Transformers. Not everybody is going praise mediocrity because of stupid politics. If you took Michael Bay's 2007 Transformers. You gave all the Autobots lipstick and had them say the word patriarchy a couple of times. It would go from 56% on Rotten Tomatoes to 95% and all of you would love it.
Woke haters are out of touch with John Q. Public. Or WB Slick Marketing duped people thinking this was a lighthearted Summer Blockbusters. Than the Patriarchy Drinking game it actually is. If it was Marketed for the film it was. It would made the same money as 2019's Charlie's Angels. Which nobody remembers and like nobody will remember this in 5 years. .

Yes people fear Barbie. She up there with Darth Vader. Can't be that just a sucky movie or that its shit. From everything ive seen online. Its seems like a preachy bore fest made for about 20% of population. And the only way they got people to see it. Is to trick people into thinking it was a lighthearted fun summer movie.
I thought it was pretty good. Better than Man of Steel and Batman V Superman.
