No I'm pretty sure it was something more. Charles said, in his confession, that he did something to Logan specifically. And the doctor who was working on patching Logan up told him that there's something wrong, Logan's reply was "I know what's wrong with me," or something to that effect.

BvsS was just dreadful, way worse than Logan, but Logan was pretty dull
No, it was something else. Right before Charles gets stabbed in the chest, he's saying how he doesn't deserve a peaceful night because of what he did to Logan one year ago.
