Who you responding to pioneergrrrl me or gbennet, Some shows like The Americans which is set in the 80's translates well today because of the whole Russia scandals........
What TV shows in the 80's do you think consistently translates today?? By Family Ties he was a international star as it was broadcast not just in the U.S, But also in UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Holland, Denmark, Norway, Italy, etc
Are you sure Nosduj, As in the link the director explains there will be a sequel due to there being a'lot more to the story because there are 8 books worth......I haven't seen the film so can't comment but the when I saw the trailer it didn't seem like they had done all the books
My Primary school had Whiteboards in summer of 85[UK] when I was 4, I used to love/still do the squeaking noise when teacher would rub off the coloured pen off it :-)

You say starred a then up and coming Scott Bakula-I remember him in TV episodes for likes of-Disney's World of Color, My Sister Sam, Gung Ho, Designing Women, CBS Summer Playhouse + TV films-The Last Thing + I-Man...Way before QL
And QL didn't last 2 or 3 seasons but 5 seasons!

Bill comes dangerously close to seeing the deadlights; after looking into It's eyes, he saw the shape behind the shape for a brief moment. He described the sight as an endless, crawling hairy creature made of orange light.

Ah I have seen that advertised looks really good am goin to start watching it this weekend with my other half- I have been a fan of Jason Bateman since a kid in the 80's when he was in shows like Silver Spoons + The Hogan Family!
Oh yea The Handmaids Tale- I remember my cousin used to read the Novel that to me as a kid in the 80's-Seen it advertised + also looks alright but will def watch it at some point
The Mist-Really like Stephen King stuff-His Books/Novels + Mini Series/TV Shows........I must admit the film version with Thomas Jane I thought was rubbish....The Novel was really good though...Will watch the series soon I just watch so much films + TV shows lol
I tried Game of Thrones couldn't get in to it, Heard of The Sinner-Has Jessica Biel in it right read it in a magazine it is a 8 parter....Seems they haven't distributed it to other countries yet which is annoying!

Zoo, Timeless, 3%, Beyond, Mr Robot, etc etc

Yea just a waiting game till a trailer comes out, I have been to Utah + many other states + towns like-New York, Florida, L.A, Washington D.C, New Jersey, Seattle, New Orleans, Atlanta etc

I hope not or that would be a shame, But many other shows like Anthology shows are sometimes 30 minute episodes amongst other ones not just comedy ones......Where you from btw

Yea I read that-I feel it may have comedy elements but also serious tones to it, I doubt this will be a comedy like Cheers/Moonlighting or Only Fools + Horses etc
r5d4d2-I take it you won't be watching this then....I was really mad when they did the remake with Jackie Chan though it wasn't a direct scene to scene remake but still!
As for Top Gun-I agree we do not need a number 2 it is one of them films where it can stand alone like Flight of the Navigator, Bigfoot[Harry] + the Hendersons etc...........

The spider was not female-IT could transform in to anything it wanted!
Lasteven- It wasn't cause of the technology but the budget, Many TV shows that had spiders that were animatronics or CGI or both looked more realistic than that spider in this Mini-Series

Well it was filmed in the 80's in 89 till early 1990
IT was filmed in summer of 89 till early 90
So you say much more attractive and not just more attractive-Basically saying she is ugly as you said much more-Which is not the case at all they are both as attractive as eachother
