Thanks, I appreciate it. I'm looking forward to watching the movie again before the sequels comes out. I think I'll have the 1990 version in my mind much less and will try and just enjoy it more! Loved your video, thanks for sharing it.

Thanks Chris. That's an interesting perspective and I agree to an extent, but I just think it should have been given more of an edge in terms of horror. I'm really looking forward to the second part too, although I'd personally rather they give the roles to newcomers or less well established actors.
Pretty much agree with all of that. It felt as if Hackman couldn't be assed to try and inject a little darkness and a sinister edge to the role.
Interesting, I didn't know that. Where can you see Donner's version?
That's a really good point about the reason why they chose to make Luthor especially comical. I think they just took it a little too far, that's all.
