Sounds like a sci-fi plot to me
Just saw it again myself last night. I was already a fan but i think she is definitely at her most beautiful/cute in this.
Samara put evil images and thoughts in their heads i seem to remember them saying at some point. Ring 2 almost sent me to sleep though so maybe i'm wrong.
