Are you sure? Nothing seems to be coming up for MM when I check. Wow--when is this happening? I still find her image and the idea of her as a "real" star very much downplayed on TCM. But, we shall see. Hmmmm...perhaps. Her image is still nonexistent, as a TCM star (as any kind of star1) in the channel's various montages. "She was beautiful, of course. Anyone could see that. But there is something extremely alert and vivid in her, an intelligence. I had the pleasure of having dinner next to her and saw that all these things came fluidly all the time, all these amusing remarks, precise, pungent, direct. It was flowing all the time. In her you feel the woman, and also great discipline as an actress." Photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson, on meeting Marilyn during the filming of "The Misfits." Lots and LOTs of fiction in this thing. But reasonably amusing. For them, in terms of the show continuing a season or two. Against, in that I'd like to see them eventually pay for their crimes--they have killed/ruined so many innocent people. I wouldn't mind Paige being dropped out a window. Most annoying, that girl/ I thought he was annoying throughout. Something kind of sadistic in the entire setup. He was just always too happy about keeping Neal trapped and helping him. I'm almost tempted to say I prefer Kristen Stewart as an actress. I'm not there yet, however. Like I said, no fan of hers, but she didn't destroy it. I admit, I just don't get her appeal, but obviously others do! Or the sequel could have been somebody reading her journal of those years--visualized for us. But that hardly seems likely with the poor reception the film received. It's too bad. I just saw it, and was pleasantly surprised. Very satisfying emotionally. (I never pay attention to "plot holes" especially in science fiction--the entire genre is a plot hole!) I'm not much of a J Lawrence fan but she was fine. I thought Pratt was better than I've ever seen him. Great visual style to the entire movie. Yes, it was kind of Sleeping Beauty/rom-com in space, but...so what? I certainly didn't feel I'd wasted my time. View all replies >
