1.) Clay thought he was somehow paying Tyler back for What he did to Hannah. 2.) You're exactly right about this one. But I guess Clay just wasn't willing to tell Tony about that. I don't exactly know how he pulled it off but apparently no one knew he was the first to the scene. 3.) Yes this doesn't make sense at all. It's almost like she forgot what she knew about Bryce. Why would she even go to his party? Let alone undress and get in a hot tub. If it had been a party at someone else's house and Bryce happened to be there it would make more sense. Not victim blaming but she really shouldn't have ever put herself in that situation. Yes, Hannah should only be on flashbacks and the tapes i'm sure will get replayed during the trail against the school and also possibly a criminal trail against Bryce. I don't see any way they can include her any more than stated above. That would make her kind of a minor character in season 2 but I think that's how it should be. I agree. I always thought Alex was a closet gay. I had no idea that Tony was until the makers of the show threw it in our faces. I really don't understand this. Nothing in his character made me think he was gay. It had nothing to do with the plot. I really think they were just trying to make a political statement that there can be "good" gay people after having multiple gay characters that are very bad people (Ryan & Courtney). All in all just too many gay characters in this show. Also, too many interracial relationships. Both are just too unrealistic. That is not real life. Less than ten percent of the population engages in one of these two things and yet nearly half of the characters in this show do. Yes, I too first thought of the TZ board and all the marathon threads. I thought we were going to have to settle for Reddit but then I found MovieChat! Hopefully we have a good turnout on the Marathon play-by-play on July 4th. I have found that a lot of the other boards have less traffic that IMDB had, which is understandable considering how new MC still is. Hopefully MC grows in popularity and becomes just as great as IMDB was. I love the beaver! A great classic show! I used to watch reruns all the time on TVLand before that channel went bad. I hadn't seen the show in years til I got the dvds for Christmas. I wish cable channels aimed at kids would play old shows like this instead of their own original new stuff that portrays parents as idiots and the kids as in charge. I think it would help society as a whole to teach kids to be respectful of their parents like Beaver and Wally were respectful for their parents. When I was a kid, TVLand was the channel I primary watched. I watched Beaver, Gilligan's Island, I Love Lucy, Green Acres and so many more. They are so much better made than anything today. You have to be kidding, Right? If you really are calling TZ sexist you are an idiot that must spend your life mad at everything and everybody. I never really saw the episode as dealing with suicide. I believe that in Gart's mind he was just stepping off the train in Willoughby. He at least didn't intend to kill himself. He just wanted to get to be in a place like Willoughby. I have always seen it as a happy ending because Gart gets what he so desperately wants in life. A calm simple life in a place called Willoughby. "The New Exhibit." In my opinion by far the best episode of season 4. I also love "On Thursday we leave for Home." I really don't dislike season 4 at all. I don't know why it is hated so much. The episodes feel a little different because of the hour-long format be are still good and if I did the math of bad-to-good episodes I would probably find that Season 4 stacks up no worst than most of the other seasons. Thank you for your thoughtful comments. I can tell your not one of those where it's your way or the highway. You are willing to hear the other side and ask questions. To answer your question, let me use an analogy. Let's say guy 1 starts a very successful company and hires guy 2 to work for him. Guy 2 is always on time, does his job well and guy 1 is happy with his work. But, for some reason Guy 2 will not respect guy 1 as his boss. He has picked some random guy not even involved in the company and claims this guy is his boss. Guy 1 created the company. He hired guy 2, so he is really the only possible boss. And yet Guy 2 does not see him as his boss. He does not give him the respect and appreciation Guy 1 deserves for hiring him in the first place. How long to you think guy 2 is going to last in the company? I don't think very long. It's a boss's right to fire someone who doesn't give him the respect he deserves. Just like it is God's right to send someone to hell that doesn't believe in Him. God doesn't want anyone of His children to go to Hell but there have to be rules. Without rules everyone is killing everyone else in the streets. God made his rules in the Bible and expects those who believe in him to follow those rules. If you break them all you have to do is humble yourself and repent of your sin. He is always right there to forgive you of your sins. he is far more patient than any human could be. He will give you thousands or more chances to live the way you are suppose to live but if you get to the end of your life and you still don't believe in him he has the right to judge you accordingly. We are not going to agree on this but I just want you to know that people of faith do not see the God of the Bible(the only true God) as you call him as a monster. We know that without God we and the whole world would have never existed. We are all sinners and thus not worthy of God's love yet he send his only son to die so that we could live. God gives man free will. He wants everyone to do what is right but he has never forced anyone to do anything. I'm guessing your statement on intolerance comes because you think something is perfectly fine that God calls sin. There is nothing intolerant about God. He created the rules so he has a right to punish when people break those rules. I have never seen anything in the Bible to be a "Threat." We are all free to believe what we want to believe and live the way we want to live. Of course, Actions have consequences. God created Right and Wrong so he gets to decide what's right and what's wrong. The good think is he never changes what's right or wrong. What's God said is sin in the new testament is sin today. He doesn't change with the times. I know you don't believe anything I've said but I just want you to believe that the God I serve is not the God you described. He is not a Monster. He is not Cruel. He is not Heartless. He is not intolerant. He does not make threats. His word is life-changing on a far different level that "Gatsby" or any other Human-made work. Without God there would be nothing to live for. There is nothing like having a relationship with Him. I pray somehow, someway you will find it in your heart to accept him as your savior someday. It's the old proverb that there are no atheists in foxholes. Everyone knows there is a God but some choose to 'believe' there isn't because they don't want to answer to anyone but themselves or other reasons. But if they are ever in a situation where there is no one but God to help they quickly 'remember' God and cry out to him. The whole point of the episode is a communist regime eerily similar to the soviet union at the time were not letting people think for themselves. The people were not allowed to read books, especially the Bible because they did not want them to worship anyone other than the government. They did not want people to challenge their absolute authority. I believe that we all deep down know that there is a God that created us and everything around us. The dictator was as atheist as you can be but in the end when it came to a life or death situation he knew that there is a God and said "In the Name of God let me out." It's a very moving episode for anyone who believes in God and knows there are those out there that feel threatened by that belief. What happened in that episode could very well still come true. Thank God we elected a president that recognizes God as the ultimate authority and not government. Also, It would not have been nearly as effective if Serling had had Wordsworth reading Fitzgerald or Faulkner because the Bible's words are holy. They are God's words written down by man. I would thank anyone would know that difference in the significance of God's words and the words of a human poet. It's an ever changing list. Red has certain enemies that are on the Blacklist that don't pose an immediate threat to Red's criminal empire. He will get to those when he has "free" time. He often puts new names on the Blacklist that pose an immediate threat. That episode Red thought Dembe had betrayed him and tried to kill him so naturally Dembe's Name was put on the blacklist. At the end his name was taken off. Similarly Mr. Kaplan's name would not have been on the list but was put on after she became a threat to him. I'm sure Agent Gale will be a member of the Blacklist eventually if not already. We will find out in season 5. I really hope this show is not close to ending. I have heard rumors that season 5 would be the final season but I really hope if is not. It started out slow this season but by the end was as good as ever. Did you check the episode "The Hungry Glass"? That one is possible. "An Unlocked Window." This is definitely the best episode in my opinion. Feels like it could be it's own movie. Either way I would like to see another attempt at a remake. Hopefully it would be done more in the spirit of the original with a good host. The 80s and 2000s remakes had their good moments but could have been so much better had they stayed more true to the original show. I like the idea of Bill Hader hosting. "Nightmare at 20,000 feet." "Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up." "The Passersby." Yes that would be interesting. I could see this episode being made into a movie. It would have to have more details but I think it could be good. Like your idea about David Fincher. I agree. There seems to be much more we could have been told about the mannequins and their forays into to the real world. That's what I would like to see a remake series or movie do. Not remake episodes but go into greater detail about classic episodes of the original series. As well as create new stories in the tradition of the original series. It would not be as good as the original but it would be worth watching at least for me.
