Thank you for your reply. It is Nice to hear that someone other than me do recognize it! The woman could have been wearing a wig, yes. I am certain though that she was wearing a big hat which covered a bit of her face. Yes, The man said goodbye to her at The platform before she got onto The train. Do you remember something else? Was it in colour? Can we decide if The spoken language was english? It is not Postman always rings twice. I have watched so many noirs and old crime movies and mysteries these last couple of years That it is really weird That i have not found it. And it is not a spoof or a comedy, I am certain about That. Nope :/ I Will check out undercurrent, thank you! I havet seen The other one you mentioned and it is not it. Thanks anyway. Nope. I love that movie though. Yeah, sort of actually. First I thought, as you did, that stan and ollie was at a bar, and I did recognize the scene you described in your post, but memories have flaws. I know now that I have not seen the version you described because I have now watched almost every l&h movie there is, including every one of the l&h films that I have ever watched before, and thé scene you describe is not in any of them. Maybe there is a scene just as you described it, but I could not have seen it. Sorry. As other People have mentioned it has to be great Guns (1941). The part where ollie spills the drink as stan ask for the time is at 37:00 in the movie. The part where ollie try to trick stan into spillning his drink is at 43:40. The movie is on Youtube. Check it out and tell me if you might have been wrong too. Sorry, not the one, but thanks. Thanks for your reply! I do not Think it is the columbo movie though ;/ but i will watch it anyway just to be sure, because several People have actually suggested that movie. The list on tvtropes did not include my movie. But thanks anyway :) UPDATE : I must say that I have really searched for this one. And as a fan of noirs and the mystery/crime genre I have already watched a lot of films and should be able to find it. So it is Weird that I cant. I have tried keywords and gone through list after list on imdb, I have also searched by genre and by year ect. I have a break in my search right now and have been watching films in other genres. Yes, but it is not that scene. And I know that I have seen that one jaures1 describes. One year ago I had kind of a marathon on l&h movies and i distincly remember this scene he describes in one of them. So I know that I will find it :) I cant, sadly, find it and I find it very Weird that I cant. I just saw it like a year ago, I think. I have fast forward almost every h&l movie i have seen, and I havent found it. I will keep looking for it though, but in a slower pace. Maybe by watching every movie one by one when I got time, because now I am eager to find it (problebly just because i cant). Good luck searching! Oh! I have actually seen this, and many, h&l movies, so I hope that i can help you with this matter. I will check it out this weekend and hopefully get back to you with an answer :) Yes I have time, just been a crazy two weeks or so, but I have read your messages :) Nice to know that someone recognize the movie. That means it do exist! I have searched and watched a few movies with a similar plot as the one I am looking for, but neither one of them was the one. I have now had a week without filmwatching, which is kind of Weird for me. I have a list of movies Who need to be viewed. I have seen "too late for tears " and it is not it. I will allthough read into it or speed through it just to be sure. Thanks. You mentioned the movie "enough rope" earlier, and allthough it is not the one I am looking for I learned that I do want to see it. Too bad I could not find a place to stream it ;/ I dont Think it is "the two mrs carolls", but it is on my list and I will some day check it out. But it is not on 'top priority'. Last few months I have seen a great deal of noirs and mysteries. I love a good murder mystery but sometimes i just need a break from it all and see something else, like a comedy or a movie that I have already seen. I am a sucker for old movies and have watched a big deal of movies the last years. This time though I write them all down, just to be sure. It is really annoying to know that you have seen a movie you cant remember the name of, and cant find anywhere, no mather how hard you try. You know what I mean ;) Thanks again. View all replies >
