Not cancer but debillitating genetic abnormalities, such as Down's Syndrome, and others that do lead to a short life.

I'm not talking about ratings, per se, but audience interest, or, let's call it "ratings reliability." If two movie gets similar ratings on Metacritic and IMDB, but one has 50,000 ratings and the other 200,000, which one are you more likely to enjoy? If a batter is hitting 300 with 50 at-bats, and another is hitting 290 with 300 at-bats, which would you want on your team?
You're a nice guy--just the type that caused them to shut down their board. I am just making a suggestion for this new site, so I don't have to go to two.
Because I have found that, superhero movies excepted, a large number of viewers indicates an interesting, well-done movie, and I have seen enough bad movies in my life, thank you, so I seek guidance before wasting any more time. The metric I am referring to is much more indicative, for me, than what is said by the the bought and paid-for critics.
