My thoughts exactly! I came to this board to ask the same question.
Since when does Joy hate Danny? She clearly finally got suspicious of Harold after she realised he framed Danny, as she knew for sure Danny was innocent and Harold was manipulating her.
After all this she should know that Danny isn't the reason for her misery, her own father is.
Also, what is Davos interest in involving Joy? Why would he think she could help in whatever quest he's started on?
I'd like that. This is a show that gives the viewers lots of theories and I like reading what you and others think.

I think her story is 100% real. But your comment made me wonder. Can you refresh my memory on the facts that make it easy for viewers to believe it's false? Apart from the books under her bed, the books are all I remember as a clue on this aspect. Thanks
I find it hard to believe (plus I'm not hoping) that she'll only apear through flashbacks. Although it is also far fetched if she comes back to life. Hopefully James Cameron will find a believable way to pull her back to the franchise.
I'm also really curious about the plots for the sequels. I assume a big part of it will be the humans returning for the valuable material, but I don't want this to become another "death start plot". The death star that kept returning to the star wars franchise annoyed me a little as it was just the same plot happening over and over again.
Concerning Charles Xavier, I'm sure Melanie knows who he is. Not just for begin Davids dad, but for being a powerfull mutant and starting his own school for young mutants. It seems Melanie has done something of the same as Xavier, building a center for mutants, where they can learn and explore their abilities. Seems like Melanie is taking in mostly grow-ups though. Anyways, I think they know eachother well

Yes this got me thinking about the fact the David wasn't able to let Wallace (the memory guy) further into his memories, they were blocked without his control. Could have something to do with your theory!
Also if Syd is a part of this, infiltrating his mind... she could be orchestrated by the Eye. Will be interesting to find out :)
