One of my black friends growing up had cousins who would visit, named nearly every month and day of the week. When it was time for supper, you'd hear his dad call, "Hey, March, Bettie, April, May, June, July, Rosie, August, Tuesday, Wednesday, Tursday, Tyrone...!"
Didn't watch it all yet. I don't have time to binge watch entires series. But I'll look forward to that, lol!
So far they just keep talking to Will, and it's like "Will, tell us what's happening" and Will: "I don't know." Someone: "Oh, it's ok, Will." Rinse, repeat. With lots of shouting, Will! Willll like "Waaaalt!" on Lost.

I would guess from their names that most, in fact, had family origins in the British Isles. There is a much higher percentage of Anglo-Saxon names here than in your typical slice of the American population.
I guess, in Sopranos parlance, they are in "Elvis country" ("no Italians, no Jews").
Blacks and Asians are not a high percentage of Arizona's population, whereas Hispanics are a huge percentage and they are well integrated with Anglo Whites.
I didn't say anything about a conspiracy. I'm asking whether or not Hispanics tend to join these fire squads. It's completely possible that Hispanics and others are not compelled OR not invited to join these squads -- either lack of interest on the Hispanics' part or an exclusiveness of the Whites in the squads. This is what I'm asking.

The characters could actual be put in real danger once in a while. After the first few times EL used her powers, we knew that whenever any danger came, everyone would be fine. At least they killed Barb.
It's like in the Lord of the Rings movies when the characters would be in "OMG THE WORST DANGER EVER" and then eagles would swoop down and pick them up. Why not just call eagles to fight the whole battle?

Did you ever end up watching the rest of the season? I ended up flaking off 1/3rd the way through, it's just gotten too repetitive. But then I just remembered it existed (!) and watched the last two eps. I find myself hating most of the designs.
Those onion rings though. They looked so terrible. I feel ashamed to be an American watching, but then I remember it's New Jersey and all makes sense.
Your post is like the episode 8 of this thread, compared to the episodes 1-7; 9-18 of the other posts. The former is hard to swallow, like a bowl of menudo that the cat peed in, while the latter cause belly ache in the way of pop tarts and cotton candy, only they give Das Volk a sort of postmodern satisfaction.
